Rating: Just a better way to carry weight
Reviewer: Adam K., Monday, August 30, 2010 - View all my reviews
go ahead and make the investment. the fit better in you bcd, dont hurt (as much) when you them on your foot or the boat deck, you can take weight out of them if you need them to weigh less but still want the pouch, the weight amount is always readily identifiable, and they are not that much more expensive.

These are the greatest. We have about 2 dozen in different sizes. Great for the BCD and for pocketed weight belts for Spearfishing.
I highly recommend these to anyone that Scuba Dives or is in to Spearfishing.
Easy to clean, store and dries quickly as well.
Thanks, Sharon

They are tight fitting and seems to be well made. The will work just fine and fit in the belt tight too. Its probably a good thing because with time everything will lossen up. Filling up with shot was easy. Velcro seal is strong. Looks good and feels good.

I have been using XS Scuba Weight pouches for the last 2 years. They have lasted me for over 2 years now. I have now purchased more for my dive partner. I dive about 2-3 times daily (dive instructor).

Rating: Weight Pouches
Reviewer: Larry B., Thursday, June 04, 2009
Being on a budget, I couldnt afford $5.00 per pound for soft weights, but found the pouches on scuba.com to be very inexpensive, so after a little research, I was able to get the lead weight and pouches for about half what it would have cost me. so, want to dive, but cant afford the gear, think again and double check scuba.com

Rating: Great bag

This is a awesome way to save money, if you have the shot available. I used number 4 shot and did not have a problem hitting the correct weight. There was still plenty of room to secure the double velcro closure.

Rating: Brilliant

My company does a lot of diving and over the years weve worn out many pairs of ankle weights. The useless weights just sat around until I found these little pouches. It was very easy to pour the lead shot from the ankle weights into the pouches and reuse the shot. The pouches are pretty sturdy and the double velcro closures are very good. The pouches are a great way to save money and ensure youve always got some extra weights lying around. I highly recommend these, though when filled with the proper weight theyre pretty stiff.

Rating: Fill your own weights

i purchased the 2 lb, 3 lb and 5 lb xs scuba weight pouches. these are great. the 2 lb fits in the small weight pockets in the back of my bcd. i can roll them and they mold for a perfect fit. we buy shot by the 25 lb. bag since my husband and i are both hunters.
i highly recommend these. and, they are very, very easy to clean and maintain.
thanks scuba.com sharon

these worked great for me. I had some old lead shot from reloading and has made some soft-weights already. These made it WAAAYY easier and probably safer too since you dont wanna play too much with lead.

tight fit after putting in lead shot. best thing to do is put 4lbs of shot in a 5 lbs bag. it will give a little slack and the bag will be less likely to rupture if ped. 1lb in 2, 2lbsin 3, 4lbs in 5. out of luck on 5lbs
