Rating: Quality of Excellence

The XS Scuba Weight Pouch is by far the best quality of any refillable weight pouch on the market. With its double velcro closure system, the pouch is virtually non-spillable and non-destructable. Best of all, this weight pouch is more economical than any other on the market. After buying my lead shot from a local sporting goods store and purchasing these inexpensive pouches, my total weight system was a savings of approximately $20.00 over other prefilled weight bags on the market. Plus, not to mention, the best quality.

Rating: Great pouch!
Reviewer: Jason Mitchell, Wednesday, September 27, 2006 - View all my reviews
These custom fill weight pouches are great. The mesh material allows water to drain quickly when you are done diving. Velcro closing at the top is very secure. You fill with your own lead shot weight, available at almost every hunting store. Best thing about these pouches is that you can fill them with exactly the amount of weight you need. If you want 4.5 instead of 5 pounds, then thats all you put in. Since you fill them yourself, you also save money compared to buying soft-weights at the LDS.

I purchased the scuba weight pouches because I knew eventually the original ones I purchased from another company was made very cheap ( I will not mention the companys name for fear of retaliation) Anyways on 08/21/06 one of the cheaply purchased nylon pouches obtained a small hole and I lost some lead weight. I only used the item on a dozen dives. I purchased your material and lo and behold on more than 2 dozen dives its still in excellant condition. Thank you Scuba.com

Rating: XS Scuba Weight Pouch Blue 4 lbs.
Reviewer: Mark Fowle, Sunday, August 12, 2007 - View all my reviews
This is a great product. As mentioned before they can be filled to any amount needed. If you buy a larger size and fill them short a 1/2-1 lbs they are more flexible and easier to place in the pockets. I simply write the actual weight on a piece of masking tape and place it on the tag (over the intended weight).

Completely satisfied with product, I purchased 2 bags each of the 2, 3, 4, and 5 lb bags. Bags are large enough to hold the specified weight of lead shot and feature a double Velcro closure system which prevents lead shot from falling out.

tight fit after putting in lead shot. best thing to do is put 4lbs of shot in a 5 lbs bag. it will give a little slack and the bag will be less likely to rupture if ped. 1lb in 2, 2lbsin 3, 4lbs in 5. out of luck on 5lbs

these pouches are ok, however if they were longer they would be easier to replace in the water they are hard to get started in the water. Once they are started they slide in fairlly well. jere bourne

The double velcro enclosures have made sure that I dont loose any lead shot. A little difficult to find lead shot anymore, though.
