This buckel is a replacement to the plastic one that was on my weight belt.This adds more assurance.Great price.

I used this buckle to replace the plastic one (with a pinch clip) on my BC. I like the quick release option, while retaining the strength of stainless. I would perfer it to plastic on a weight belt too, but I choose the SS self adjusting buckle for my weight belt.

I wanted to get into a Wing BCD for my diving but could not swallow the $1000.00 price tag. So I started a search for the pices I needed an found the stainless hardware here the best.

This buckle has been a better alternative to the plastic buckle that came with my XS Cordura weight belt. I dont have to worry about this one breaking on me.
