Rating: Perfect After Dive

I have owned my coat for over 2 years and on a recent dive in the Great Lakes, my girlfriend borrowed it because she was cold. After a few minutes she said she now knew why I always wore it after a dive in cold water. I fits right over my drysuit with it down on the suspenders. With the hat and hood, it is a complete warming outfit for cold water and ice diving! I bought this one for her as a Christmas gift and know that she already wants one! Awesome coat, very warm and packs small in a drybag! This is worth every penny!!!!

Rating: Dive parka
Reviewer: Jeff H.
I bought this to warm up and change under it after diving. Its nice and warm to wear. I noticed a couple things though, the zipper is too short so you have to be cautious when stripping down, I may add some extra snaps or Velcro. Also the zipper is backwards for a male, it starts from the wrong side. Additionally, when you put your arms through the sleeves the inner fleece material seems to be longer than the outer nylon shell and it pushes out past the cuff. For the price, its a good value.

Reviewer: Teresa M.
I ordered this for a specific dive trip to Florida in early March and was very pleased with it! It fit over my wet suit very well and was warm and comfortable. I will definitely use it again to keep warm. I called the Scuba.com guys to ask about sizing and they were right on the mark! Thanks guys!

Rating: Multi functional Parka
Reviewer: Marilyn G.
I love this parka! Its great for warming up after running, I live in the Northern midwest and it gets pretty darn cold while running and this parka is so "toasty" warm and covers most of my legs. It will come in handy when it warms up a little and we get some chilling rains.I will also wear it when I am working outside for the Park District on chilly and/or rainy days. I am a "warm water" diver only so I wont be using this for diving I recommended this jacket to a fellow worker who is a kayaker. He said it would be perfect for him also

I was delighted when I opened up the package & put on the Scuba Boat Coat. It was of a much better quality than I expected & feel its comparable to aftter dive coats that cost $175 or more. I also plan to use it as an overcoat in the snow.

This coat is so toasty and warm for surface intervals that I was persuaded to sell it at the end of my December dive trip in Cozumel last year (to the boat captain!). I made sure to buy another one for my winter dives this year. I really appreciate the hood, the adjustable velcro at the end of the sleeves and the fleece lined pockets. It is great protection from wind, rain, cold and when not needed, rolls up pretty tightly (@8"x12"). I was also very happy to find that it dries overnight if I hang it inside out. Any diver who sees this asks where I found it.

My husband and I were tired of shivering after dives. We tried a different kind of dive jacket when we were on vacation. The jacket was thin, light weight but worked really well to keep the wind off but it was $140. When I saw this jacket for $60 we had to have them. They work really well to keep us warm after dives. They are light but a little bulky so packing them could be an issue if space is a concern. The coats are long and go down to my knees. The sleeves are adjustable at the cuffs. Its fleece lined, has a double zipper and 2 large pockets. Definitely worth the $60 that we paid for them.

Rating: its like a larger raincoat
Reviewer: Chris Nininger
there is a thicker/softer (probably much warmer) 1 that i like better at my local dive shop but also costs twice as much. this 1 instead is more like a raincoat (noisy but waterproof) which hey u may like better n deff easier to clean. havent gotten 2actually use it yet but for the price i think ill be happy enough with it! :-) the zipper is awesome, outside pockets are good size n the inside pocket is a just okay. the hood is perfectly sized! size chart seemed accurate enough but the bottom gets a bit wide(youll need a lot of junk in ur trunk to fill this one lol). overall im pleased and would recommend 2 a friend. i will this after my next use on the boat out in cold water.

This Dive Parka is every bit as good as any out there. I wored in k this parka to do some emergency work around my house during a torrential monsoon rain here in Arizona. Even through the pounding rain I was perfectly dry and warm. There wee no leaks or breaches in protection. I was able to use the draw strings to bring it in tight. Nothilng came in around my neck because the hood was so effective. One of my best purchases ever! If it functioned this well in a 60 mph wind, it will do wonders for you anywhere in the world!

Introducing the perfect coat for divers before, between or after dives! The Scuba Dive Coat features a below-the-knee length, wind and water repelling nylon outer shell over a warm and soft polar fleece lining. Whether getting ready to gear up on a cold, damp day, trying to keep toasty and comfortable between dives or to help warm the diver back up again at the end of a day’s diving, this parka is the perfect choice.

The double-ended zipper opens both directions, allowing access to what ever the wearer may need inside without removing the coat entirely. It features wide openings at the sleeves to allow the diver’s hands to slide in or out of the coat easily, even when wearing a damp wetsuit. Once it’s on, tighten the Velcro cuffs to ensure the perfect fit around the wrists.

The two large outside pockets are protected by a Velcro closed flap and are angled for easy access and big enough to keep some spare defog, a wallet, cell phone or anything else the diver may need handy between dives. The adjustable draw-string hood ensures the cool air or breeze will be off of the diver’s neck and head. The final added touch being the length of the jacket.

Available in All Black and sizes Small through 2XL with the Scuba.com logo nicely embroidered on the chest, this jacket nicely offers a set of features that are all put together with warmth, function and comfort in mind.
