Rating: Not as wind-proof as I would have liked

I was hoping that this coat would keep out the wind on the dive boat as were motoring along, but it doesnt seem to be as wind-proof as I would like it to be. I also wonder if a draw string around the waist would help keep out wind and make it snugger around the body. I like the coat, but wish it were a bit warmer!

I am perplexed regarding the reviews which stated that this boat coat ran very small. I ordered a "small", even after reading the reviews, and there is room for another whole person in there with me!

I was looking for a coat that would keep me warm during surface intervals and for boat dives. What I found was the coat is a perfect addition to my gear and I use it to keep warm before donning my wetsuit and after the dive is over. I read that the coat runs small so when I ordered it I went on the larger side but really did not need to. I could have gotten away with the correct size for me. In any case it is roomy, and I can peel the wetsuit to my waist and still wear the coat. The fleece lining is really comforatble and must wick dry fairly quickly because I have yet to have that wet coat feeling while wearing it. It is a great coat.

Very handy and durable. A valuable piece of clothing that can be worn in the stromy, cool Spring. It sheds water well. I am very happy with it. I wish I had it on my boat when I got caught 7 miles out on the water when a cold rain front came down unexpectedly last fall. I got a bad cold for being unprepared. Mike

This is a beautiful boat coat however, I ordered it in 2 sizes to big for plenty of roomyness and this coat just fits now. You need to know that it is not true to sizing so be careful when choosing a size.

Very nice coat with inner fleece lining & nylon outer cover. Just what the doctor ordered for keeping warm in between dives or on the boat trip home.

Very warm and comfortable, only bad thing is that the large jackets do not have velcro pockets like the ones in size small. Otherwise perfect.
