Great book, not only required text by PADI for many specialty certifications and Advanced Open Water Diver certification, but an excellent reference book to own for any diver. Easy to read and understand without being dry and boring.

the book is concise yet has enough details for each adventure dive chapter. it also has decent review sections. the slate is pre-printed with reference information which takes up most of both sides, so dont expect it to be a slate you can take with you for most dives where youll need a slate. overall, its not a bad book for the price its a requirement anyway for padis aow certification.

The book is the standard book. The slate is really for the deep dive and navigation work. Its not a slate to use for communication. Good price.

This manual provides a vast informative foundation into the Advanced Open Water course. A definite must have for anyone pursuing a level beyond basic Open Water.

Great reference to go with my new drysuit. A soon as my shop can get a class together Im going to sign up and do it right, but with this in hand I can go go the pool and begin practicing!
