On the 15 of Oct 09 we completed a checkout fresh water dive in Clear Lake Manitoba. The weather was in the minus in Celcius and snowing. The water temp was about 8 or 9 C. The others wore dry suits and I went wet. I put in 30 min dive time and about another 45 min boat time. I never even had a chill. We are looking towards another set of lake dives for mid Nov and I will be diving both wet and dry. The boots are comfortable and good quality.

I got these for my husband to use for kiyaking in the rivers, fly fishing, and body boarding in the oregon coast where the water is always really cold. He loves them because the bottom are nice and hard to protect him from any rocks and they are not slippery, but they are super comfy at the same time because the inside is very padded. They are very warm and totally worth it for such a low price!

Ive used Mares for years but have not been able to find them since the local dive store closed. I looked around and found Deep Sea boots - and I am very glad I did. The Deep Sea boot has a better sole and it continues around to the sides. This is important to me because I have a wide width and I used to break out of the Mares just above the sole and the sand would come pouring in. I use these for metal detecting both in the water and on the beach and so it is important to be as comfortable as possible. So far, these have performed very well. The only thing I found troublesome is that the zipper does not continue further down. Along with my wide width, I have a high in-step and it is a struggle, due to the tight fit, to get the boot off.

i am new to diving and wanted some good boots but didnt want to spend alot of money. these were priced right where i wanted to spend for boots incase they werent what i wanted i wasnt out that much money, they fit good and keep my feet very warm, im a member of a fire department in Minnesota and we end up going in pretty cool water. the coolest i have been in so far is 42 degrees and my feet stayed pretty warm so i figure i found the right boot for me.

Price for product is very good. The booties look alright, but I have not had a chance to try them in the water yet. However when I tried them on, I noticed that the side zipper does not unzip low enough, so it is a little difficult to put on or take off the bootie.

My feet always were cold in the cold water, but these boots solved the problem. Now my "cold feet" has to do with other aspects of the dive, but my feet are warm.

Comfortable boots which fit well with fins. 6.5 mm better thickness for women feet size 9 versus 7 mm. Cant wait to try them out.
