They are exactly what I was looking for in a harder souled boot. Living in Hawaii means that theres alot of coral or volcanic rock you might have to walk through to get to the water. These were great! And, the hyperstretch did indeed hyperstretch, which totally made a zippered boot obsolete. No zipper in these boots - foot in and out without a struggle. Thanks Henderson!!

These boots are great, but I dont like that there is no protection around the toe area. I dive at a quarry where there are tons of rocks and boulders, and I have to climb out. I bought these thinking the hard sole would help and it does, but I have stumped my toes while clibming out. I think the Oceanic hard sole boots would have been better suited for the areas that I visit.

Boots seem like theyll do what I want, which is to have a hard sole boot without a zipper, but theyre about a 1/2 size too short (as others have said). So, Im sending them back for the next size up.

Will these boots work for hiking and wading in a 40 degree stream with lots of rock and mud to do a little fishing?

They are designed to let water into the boot, then the body warms that water and the boot insulates. They have a good sole for rocks but if the boots are completely submerged they might not keep you as warm as you need.
