If I bought a size 6 (womens) 7mm dive boots, will a size 5 (or small)5mm dive socks be too thick to fit well in my boots? I want to be very warm but not have squished toes.

The boot is designed to fit snug in order to minimize the amount of water inside. The less water inside the boot the easier it is for you to keep it warm. If the boot is purchased in the proper size, it should be too snug to allow for the 5mm sock as well.

Thanks Bob. My boots havent arrived yet, but if Im looking for added warmth and possibly socks to prevent blisters, am I better off buying some sort of under-armor sock or one thats 2mm or smaller?

Hello Tessa, if you are looking to add more warmth then you would need to go with a sock with some type of thickness. If you are looking to help with blisters then going with a thin lycra sock work do the job for you.

If you wear a womans 8 (narrow heel wide toes) do you recommend a small or a medium?

The small (Women's 7-8) would be a much better fit for you. There is a little stretch in the neoprene so this should fit you perfect. If you get the Medium there would be a lot more play in the sock.
