Could I use my first stage regulator (Cressi)?
Hello Mauricio, this mask already comes installed with the 2nd stage regulator. As for your 1st stage yes you can use that with this. If you want to install your own regulator in the mask you would need to order the Ocean Reef Neptune II Full Face Scuba Dive Mask Only web link: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-124/027360/Ocean-Reef-Neptune-II-Full-Face-Scuba-Mask-Only.html. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
Hi, What is the difference between Ocean Reef Neptune Space G.divers Full Face Scuba Dive Mask and the Reef Neptune Space Full Face Scuba Dive Mask with 2nd Stage? In the web, they show different prices. thanks jordi
Hello Jordi, the Space G. is there 2012 version of there full face mask. The Neptune Space is there older model. Also the Space G comes in different colors. Also the Space G was designed to work around the regulator where the Neptune was designed for the add-on's with the mask. If you have any other questions or would like to place an order please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
I have always cleared my ears by pinching my nose and have used EXO full face masks in the past. For some reason pushing the aga nose cone into my nose I cant clear. Can you recommend any masks that would allow me to pinch my nose or any techniques that would help clearing w the aga? -Thanks
Hello Lance, you would need to adjust the nose pieces so you can push down on the nose piece to clear. When it comes to full face masks. You are not able to clear your nose by pinching your nose you would have to adjust the built in part that comes with the mask.
Im confused. Why is the First Stage regulator called an upgrade? Do you need to buy this to be able to hook this mask up to a hose from a tank, or is there a regulator built into the mask?
Hello Chris, the Mask and 2nd stage (regulator mounted into) mask is all one item. If you need a 1 stage (the item you mount to the tank directly) is a seperate item. They reason they do this is because you can use your 1st stage if you have one instead of the 1st they sell. They can be mixed and matched to any 1st stage. If you have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
hi does the second stage have a diver adjustable airflow and does it come with a hose . how much time would it take to ship to lebanon
Yes, the second stage regulator on the Ocean Reef mask is adjustable and it comes with a second stage hose that can be attached to the SCUBA divers first stage regulator. Typical international delivery dates are 1 – 2 weeks. Expedited shipping is available.
I would like a mask that allows for communication with the surface/dive partner. Is this mask compatable with some form of communication option?
You need a diver comm unit and a surface unit. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-168/029058/Ocean-Reef-M100-Portable-Surface-Transceiver-Unit.html http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-168/131893/Ocean-Reef-GSM-G.divers-Wireless-Diver-Communication-Unit.html
can it be used with nitrox up to 40%, or what is its limits? also can I get the mask without 2nd stage?
I have never used a full mask before and was wondering if the plastic above to regulator is soft so you can clear your ears, if not how do you go about clearing them. Also when connecting the mask to the 1st stage does it use a quick connect or does it separate from the rest of the octopus because Im not sure my dive bag would have enough room to fit the mask and octopus together. Last question is some times when I dive I use a flashlight that attaches to my goggles would I be able to attach that to the mask without the flashlight being slanted away from where Im looking or would it fit straight ahead like on my goggles?
It will probably be easier for you to go to Oceanreef's site. They have instructional videos that show how the mask works. http://www.oceanreefgroup.com/ The mask replaces the primary second stage on your regulator hose, so the octo you are using does not change. Clearing is done by pressing the mask against your face so 2 soft plugs in the mask can block your nose to clear.
Hello, Actually I have two questions.. the first is why your price is way cheaper than amazon.com while both of you sell the same mask with the same specifications and actually Scuba.com is the source supplier to Amazon for this kind of mask? My second question is: Do you ship to Jordan and if yes, how long does it take to delivery? If you dont ship to Jordan then how long does take to ship to a USA address?
Pricing can change every day. As long as you can add the item to shopping cart and it shows that price at checkout, that will be the price and will come with a full warranty. You can place the order on the website. Using Amazon Checkout is the easiest way to process international orders. The shipping charge will be listed when you proceed to checkout and prior to submitting the order. Order are typically delivered within 2 weeks from the day it processes.
hi im after a cheap low pressure full face mask I can run from a compressor could you recommend a mask please, cheers steve
I have a facial deformity and have had a terrible time finding a mask that does not leak on the left side of my face or is so snug, I end up with a blister on the bridge of my nose. Would a full face work and fit better?
Hi I have have a pair of scuba goggles and I find them very uncomfortable to wear I seem to not always get the right tightness to fit and the other issue with the goggles is they are not torn anywhere but if I have them not tight enough water will go inside them and I have issues with purging the water out I feel sufication when I do purge the and if I have the goggles tight it starts to cause discomfort and I was wondering is the full face mask more comfortable then the goggles and I live in Canada and I was wondering would I have to pay in american or Canadian money and if I do get the Ocean Reefs Neptune Space G divers Full Face Mask how Long would it take to get to St Thomas Ontario Canada and would you guys accept Money order and I could give you guys my info for the payment and does the mask come with instructions on how to set it up or is it already set up and I would have to set it to my fitting for my face because I am going for my Recreational divers certification and I want a mask that is comfortable and later on down the road I want to be able to talk to other divers but all I would like is to be comfortable without a problem and my snorkel gets in the way and that is the other reason I was asking about the Full face Mask

Hello! My dad had a really bad experience scuba diving a few years ago and now he has panic attacks while diving. he said it he would be fine if he could breathe through his nose and mouth. is this the mask for him? Thanks!
I am interested in a full face mask (FFM) the Ocean Reef G. But would rather use my scubapro 1st and 2nd.. is that possible? Also I have a Air II, so how would that change things?
Unfortunately no. The Ocean Reef masks are proprietary to and built around the Ocean Reef 2nd Stage. The use of the Air II becomes more tricky, although not unlike using any other octo. It doesn't incorporate into the mask so in a regulator failure that would cause you to use your alternate air source, you'll be removing your mask to breath from the Air II. In the case of a buddy needing your octo in an Out of Air Emergency, they'll either have to be happy being VERY close to you, breathing from the Air II while you attempt to use your inflation functions OR (my recommendation) add a standard octo to your set up when using the FFM.
Hello! I am interested in the Ocean Reef Neptune Space G.divers Full Face Mask. I currently do not own any scuba equipment and am tired of renting used gear. What all would I need to purchase to use this mask with a rented BCD. I am looking to invest in everything but doing so little by little. Thanks!
Got a used instruction-missing Ocean Reef f-f mask for a friend. Model cco475 with Niro Neptune regulator. Curious what the side-set Open/close valve is (red/green letters)...and what the "thin bar" (red one side, green other) is for. Also: if missing one of the soft caps by persons nose need get one or both get taken off when diving and so not important. Thanks re any reply.
Hi. What is a min IP for the integrated regulator? Can it be replaced with another one which I can adjust to a 20psi?
Hello Alex, if your looking for the lowest version of this model then you would be looking for the hookah version: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-124/029052/Ocean-Reef-Neptune-Space-Full-Face-Mask-with-Hookah-2nd-Stage.html this would have 50/60 psi.

More About the Neptune Space
Adaptability – Face seal – sizes
The patented bellows-type skirt with a “spring profile” has a large sealing surface (30-45 mm, double that of
a conventional mask). The spring effect is achieved by a combination of the double “S” section and the inner
support ribs, resulting in a comfortable fit and ample support. This allows the mask to “float” comfortably on
the face. The face seal and strap concepts are OCEAN REEF patents.
The majority of the models may be supplied with two sizes: Small/Medium and Medium/Large.
In order to determine whether a diver should wear a S/M or M/L mask, OCEAN REEF has designed a Mask
Measuring Kit (code 33075).
The sizing and measuring system were designed in accordance with the official measuring procedure used
in the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory Charts at the SBCCOM Mask Fit Facility-Aberdeen Proving Ground
(Maryland, USA). Before purchasing a mask, use the caliper to take two simple face measurements. Using
the Full Face Mask Size Recommendation Chart, it is possible to evaluate the size category into which the
There are three different size categories on the chart: Small/Medium, Both, and Medium/Large. If the
measurements fall within the both category, then the customer should technically be able to wear either size
(MEDIUM/LARGE or SMALL/MEDIUM), and in that case they should try on a mask to select the best fit.
Please note that the chart boundaries fade. The fading areas represent less common face measurements. It
is very likely that a mask will still fit comfortably even if measurements are located in these fading areas
The Neptune Space visor is made of transparent polycarbonate. It is designed to be wider and sit
closer to the face than previous full face masks. This design maximizes the visual field, particularly
the peripheral area. The visible light transfer of the visor is 92%.
Required field of vision (effective) >40% of the natural field of vision – Space masks 71.80%.
Required field of vision (binocular) >50% of binocular natural field of vision – Space masks 80.68%
Italcert certification PPE-05 Rif 1332/05

Durability and scratching resistance
The visor of the Neptune Space can resist the impact of a 6.35 mm steel ball traveling at speeds
of 540 kph (335 mph). The visor is coated on both sides with a siloxane resin to increase the
scratching and chemical resistance.
Tested by STANAG 4296 = resistance to the impact of a 325mg metal fragment with a speed of
240 m/s and Impact resistance test: 39.3 mm/254 g sphere from 1300 mm, no cracking or added
protection during transport, the Neptune Space comes with a removable protective shield (to be
removed before diving).
The head harness and FRB II
The head harness is directly attached to the face shield, allowing pressure to be distributed equally along the mask skirt.
The six straps of the head harness hold the mask in a firm position due to their low elasticity. The tip of each strap (rubber)
is wider, making them easier to grasp while wearing neoprene
gloves. The FRB II (Raptor and Space Fast Rotating Buckle) allows the mask to be donned and doffed quickly. Predator and
IRON MASK use an AISI 316 stainless steel with surface electric
treatment and AISI 316 stainless steel rollers.
The Neptune Space air circulation system is designed to minimize fogging and reduce
the amount of CO and CO2 buildup.
The silicone orinasal pocket is built with two one way valves through which air is
inhaled. Exhaled air is directed through a valve under the orinasal pocket, limiting
the mixing of this air (containing high amounts of CO2) with the fresh air from the
regulator. The direction of exhaled air is controlled by a directional exhaust valve. This adjustable valve allows
exhaust to flow in four possible directions:
A - To the left
B - To the right
C - Both (direction of least resistance)
D - No exhaust
Position D, the “off” position is used when the diver is in
a “head-down” position which, due to pressure on the
second stage, causes the regulator to free flow. Placing
the exhaust valve in the off position causes pressure to
build in the mask, preventing free flow and returning
the system to an “air on demand” situation.
Surface air valve
The Neptune Space is equipped with a surface air valve that allows
the diver to breathe ambient air while at the surface. The surface
air valve is easily adjustable with large air vents.
Draining and pressure equalization Water that may seep into
the mask is easily eliminated by exhaling or pushing the
“purge” button on the 2nd stage. Mask squeeze, a common problem for conventional
masks, will not occur with the Neptune Space because the
pressure inside the mask is equal to the pressure outside the mask.
The 3-D equalization system
The patented OCEAN REEF 3-D equalization system is designed to allow easy equalization during a dive. The
system consists of a movable plate and two eccentric blocks (these blocks move close to the nostrils when the
upper part of the visor is pressed). When equipped with Visor Lights (see after), use the regulator to push the
mask toward your face, creating a nasal seal. The blocks plug the diver’s nose allowing equalization.
Before donning the mask, the blocks may be moved up or down depending on the length of the diver’s nose.
They may also be adjusted to fit wide or narrow noses.
The system also includes three pairs of extenders (3,
6, 10mm long) which allow the distance between the blocks and the nose to be modified to accommodate
the diver’s face. The 3-D equalization system makes diving more comfortable and inhibits any undesired pressure during a dive.
The Neptune masks are equipped with a pneumatically balanced second stage providing a consistent ease of breath
at any tank pressure. An inhalation adjustment feature allows the diver to control air delivery under a variety of
diving conditions. The system works with 2 coaxial springs.
The Dive/Pre-dive (Venturi) lever reduces free flow on the
surface and provides maximum air flow while at depth.
The Neptune Space mask complies with CE Certification
in accordance with 89/689/EEC directives under the UNI
EN250 standard rules for underwater activities, including
low temperatures (<50°F/ <10°C).
