Pros: This is an awesome mask! The ultimite in diving comfort. It never leaks or fogs and the field of view is excellent. The options are endless and I think eventually Im going to need the corrective lenses installed as Im getting older and my eyes are starting to go, but thats no problem with this mask. I didnt opt for the comms unit and with no regulator in my mouth I was still able to talk to my dive buddies if I got really close. Im also going to buy the add-on heads-up display at some point when the price comes down. Check it out! The air supply hose comes off easily by hand without the "quick release" option if you dont tighten it with a wrench and doesnt leak when finger tight. I had no problen adjusting the nose pieces or using them to equalize either. The look speaks for itself and when you see your vacation pictures next to your buddies Im sure youll agree. The old set up just looks so stone age next to a full face mask. Cons: Its a little pricey for the materials involved and I would have purchased more of the options if it wasnt so exspensive, but it seems to be comming down in price as more people clue into the advantages of full face masks. The surface air valve is a must and great for saving air supply when you dont need it but they need to develop a way to attach a snorkel while swimming at the surface and the valve is near the bottom so you have to keep your head quite high out of the water, again if you could attach a snorkel that wouldnt be a problem. The head straps need some kind of retainers so the loose ends are held back after tightening and not all flopping around because once adjusted you only need to get at the bottom ones to release the mask, but thats just my opinion as I like to have my equipment all sleek and streamlined without hoses and straps all dangling. Although it may look like it from my review. The pros still by far out-way the cons. Im just being picky. I hope this review helps your descision to buy a full face mask and scuba.com has the best prices Ive seen anywhere on scuba gear. I live in Canada and had my order in less than a week.

I have been diving for over 40 years,and have never found a mask that I was completely happy with, until now.Although the instructions were a little intimidating,I found that there was nothing to worry about. Not having any time to try the mask out,or receive any formal training before I left for a trip to Barbados,I was a little worried about My first dive with a lot of strangers. I closed the surface air valve,rolled over the side of the dive boat,and everything about the mask performed flawlessly.That first dive and many more after were the most relaxing,and comfortable dives that I can remember.The breathing was effortless,there was no leakage,no jaw fatigue,no fogging and no dry mouth. Kudos to Ocean Reef for designing and engineering such a great product.Althoug the optional swivel joint would be an asset, the quick disconnect is a must,in My opinion. I also want to add that the Pros at Scuba.com were very helpfull in getting the mask to Me on time.They were very pleasant to deal with.I live in Canada and thought that ordering on line might be challanging but it wasnt.Good on You all. Thankyou!

I recently used this mask in Key Largo diving to around 100 feet. This mask performed beyond my expectations. I was easy to equalize at depth and the mask never leaked or became uncomfortable or fogged. Its extremely easy to adjust and stays secure with the 6 straps. Visibility was increased and I didnt suffer any jaw fatigue by not having to bite on the reg. When at surface, you open the air value on the right hand side and breath air at the surface. Excellent design and performance. Couldnt ask for better.

i was very exicited and aprehensive about using the full face mask for the first time with my new third lung but after one minute i was very comfortable...small leaking problem but i could cure that if i would shave my beard everyones @ scuba.com was very courteous and helpful... thank you guys and i will be buying more equipment from you.

I mainly dive off of boats and this mask exceeded my expectations, great field of view, no fogging, no jaw fatigue, easy adjustments, and easy breathing. However, not so great a mask for beach dives. Breathing using the surface air valve while surface swimming was a little labored and got me short of breath. It also fogs up quite a bit but does clear instantly once you close the valve and breath thru the regulator. Ive ordered an Nira Male Quick Connector, sku 028055, to put on my ScubaPro G250 2nd stage so I can easily switch to it for beach dives than back to the Neptune for boat dives. Im looking forward to more boat dives!

I realydont have any problems with the mask, other than that none of the paperwork really explains how to clean it. I was told that you need to wipe it down with alcohol pads after every use, because bacteria will grow and potentially cause respiratory infections even if you dont see any kind of growth in the mask it should still be done. Other than that I am very happy with the mask.

The diver communications unit can be added later to the mask very easily. It will replace the port plug on the left size of the mask.
