Questions and Answers for Deep See Single Fin Strap / Buckle Assembly:

  • Wilson:

Hello, I have a pair of Aqualung Rockets Fins with quick release buckle, however they are going to crack due to the days. Wondering if this is the same strap and buckle of Aqualung? Cause I saw there is an Aqualung logo on the strap.

    Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at

Hello Wilson, Deep See is a sister company for Aqua Lung so yes this strap would work for your current Aqua Lung fins.

  • Tom:

I have a set of Turboflex SP Dacor fins. I need to replace the strap. Will this strap work, or is there another strap I should order?

    Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at

Dacor has been out of business for many years so it is hard to be sure, but these should fin. As long as the item is not used in the water you have 60 days to refund or exchange it.

  • Pam:

I have a pair of Deep See snorkling fins, Aqua Glide split. I just found out that I am missing the heel strap. Will this work on these?

    Arthur  (Certified Scuba Instructor at

    Hello, yes they will.

  • dom:

I have a pair of Aqualung hydrosplit fins I bought a few years back. One of the buckels is broken. Would this work? Do most buckules have the same size hole that fits in on the side of the flippers?

    Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at

Not all fins have the same size post to secure the fin strap assembly. Unless otherwise specified on the product description typically the manufacturer recommends using the strap assembly designed for the fin.

  • MIchael:

Does this strap fit Deep See Splash flippers? (kids L/XL 1-4)

    Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at

Hello Michael, yes these will work for your fins.

  • Hollace:

I have a pair of Seadive fins from 15 or 20 years ago. I just discovered one strap is missing. How can I find a replacement strap?

    Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at

Probably the easiest way to get the correct fins is to send our instructors at a picture of the fins and most importantly the side where the straps connect to the fins so they could tell you the correct strap.

  • david:

I am missing a strap assembly for Deep See 24" fins with posts 14mm ID and 22 mm OD....these dont fit the larger posts...any chance an assembly is available to fit the larger posts ? The only identifying # on the fin is "7876 B". thanks dj

These are the only size the Deep See is currently offering.
