i bought these to install on a pair of mares quattras. it takes a little bit of work to get the base securely fitted on to the postthe fitting is snug, and sliding it into place is a bear. also, having to work both a phillips head screw and a wrench at the same time was a little awkward, but at the end of the day (actually, an hour or so), i wound up with a solid feeling assembly that worked well in the water on a recent dive trip. while the installation may have been a chore, getting the fins off and on is now a breeze and they held in place during several big steps off a pretty tall gate.

Mounting them on my new OMS slipstream was extremely easy. They fit virtually all fins because the hardware for, pin mounting (Jetfin), small (Atomic) and large studds (Scubapro, Mares) come as standard. These springstraps work nicely in combination with my OMSs and facilitate donning my fins especially when wearing a heavy twin tank, restricting drysuit and thick undersuit. They secure my fins on my drysuitboots and allow the use of all alternative finstrokes. The large tab makes doffing the fins a breeze even when wearing drygloves. A great product!
