Our son bought some for his father and himself! Mine from Scuba.com are better and once again less expensive! Husband is jealous of mine! Christmas gift for him of course from Scuba.com! Thanks Shauna Williams

Rating: Good for soft surfaces

This is a good quality boot. It is exactly as others have said, you need to order 1 full size smaller than you normally use. The sole is to soft and flexible for rocks or even pebbles. It will be fine for sand or boat dives.

Got 4 pairs - me, son and wife(2) I wear 46 euro and got 11. good fit dry but they stretch wet maybe should go 10?? Wife got 6 then 7, she still cant decide which is right. Yesterday she wore one of each, the 7 on her bigger foot. In street shoes shes a 7 1/2 or 8(38 euro), son got size 4, hes a 5 US. Great Hawaii boot.

Rating: Great boots

I have been using these to snorkel. I have been walking off a rocky beach and these have provided my feet the protection I was looking for. The sizing is a little strange, a lot of people recommended getting a size small, which I did and I feel they are still a hair too big. Other than that Im very happy with them.

Rating: Great boot
Reviewer: Terry Thomas, Monday, April 19, 2010 - View all my reviews
I purchased this to walk around on rocky shores. While the sole is not real hard, it will work well. I listened to other reviews and I have a size 7 1/2 shoe....and ordered a size 6. Oddly enough, I still had slippage in the boot, so returned for a size 5. This may be a little snug, but will work. I would rather have it a little tight, than to move around in the boot. Good construction and a light weight bootie.

Rating: Good Fit
Reviewer: Deb W., Sunday, April 11, 2010
My husband and I bought these to go on vacation. We love the shoes. They protected our feet well on the rocky shore and from the hot sandy beaches. They are much easier to walk in on the beach than any sandal or flip flop. We recomend them.

Rating: made for comfort!
Reviewer: Leland J., Friday, October 16, 2009 - View all my reviews
Mares makes a boot that stretches comfortably over my EE width, high instep and narrow ankle feet - all to go into strap-back fins for use in warm water dives. If your feet cramp up easily, this boot might work for you, too. I just bought my second pair.

i was going to do some diving in maui and wanted a lightweight pair of booties. after reading a ton of reviews, i settled on the mares 2mm low top equators. they are excellent - snug fit, comfortable, and great for walking to the dive site. im a size 8-1/2, so i ordered a size 8 perfect fit. also, my transaction with scuba.com was great. highly recommended.

I purchased these boots to wear while kayaking and snorkeling. I went to the channel islands and they worked great. They were a little soft for walking on rocks but were strong enough to protect my feet. If your buying these make sure you buy a size smaller than your normal shoe size-they are on the large side. I wear an 11 shoe and ordered the size 10 boot, it fit great. Yes I would recommend these, they are put together well and hold up for more than just diving.
