Rating: Great socks! Get 2 or 3 sizes smaller though.
Reviewer: Christine O´Byrne, - View all my reviews
I ordered these to wear with my slightly too large fins, and they make the fins fit perfect and are so comfortable! When I went to order, I saw a review from a woman with size 9 feet like me. She advised to get 2 sizes smaller, so I ordered a size 7. When my order arrived I received a size 6 instead, which I thought would be too small. I tried them on and they fit, snug but comfortable. I kept the size 6 and really like them. So you could order 2 to 3 sizes smaller than your shoe size for a perfect fit.

Rating: 2mm Low Top Dive Socks - Mens 6/Womens 7 Black
Reviewer: Jo Ann L.,
I had purchased a pair of snorkel fins from scuba.com and they were a little loose, so I called and one of your guys recommended dive socks. I purchased the 2mm low top dive socks, and tried them with my long fins, and they worked perfectly. No more loose fins, plus they made the fins even more comfortable, because they are fairly thick and cushiony. The socks are streachable and easy to get on and off, plus they are warm. I wear a size 7 1/2 womens shoe, so the mens size 6 fitted me perfectly. As a side benefit, I also discovered that they are comfortable enough to wear for my low impact water aerobics class. I had tried water shoes before, but could never find a pair that worked for water aerobics, and so I thought Id give them a try for my class, and they worked great. Thank you for a good recommendation, Jo Ann

Reviewer: John W.,
These dive socks worked excellent. I used them on my last dives in the Bahamas. The only thing is they are pretty slippery when wet.

These worked very well for the price. We dove in Cozumel
I was worried that they might be to heavy/warm for a
warm water dive but they were not.

I got these because my boots move and rub a little. Problem solved with these socks. They keep my boots in place, offer a little more warmth and are easy to get on and off.

bought these for my wife and daughter. They wore them with their open healed fins. These worked great. They are thick enough to provide comfort. They love them.

Great socks for full foot fins. They prevent the full foot fins from chafing and provide some comfort. I wear a size 12 1/2 and the 11s fit perfectly. I guess they run a bit large

These socks are excellent for use with full foot fins. The only problems is that they run a bit large. I wear a size 12 1/2 and the twelves were a bit large. The size 11s fit perfectly.

Questions and Answers for Akona 2mm Low Top Dive Socks:
nick:
I was wondering if these would be too big to fit inside the Aeris Velocity Full Foot Dive Fins size 10.5-11.5? The water i swim in is pretty cold and these would be a great addition to the fins for comfort as well.

Hello Nick, yes these would fit into your fins. These will give you 2mm of add warmth. If you are looking for something a little warmer then I would suggest the Body Glove 3mm Flipper High-Top Dive Socks web link: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-112/002208/Body-Glove-3mm-Flipper-High-Top-Socks.html. These dive socks are in full size, what do we who wear half sizes do? Should we go up a size or down a size?
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Typically going up to the next size works best for boots and socks. As long as the item is not used in the water you have up to 60 days to refund or exchange it.

re: akona 2 mm low top dive socks
what size for 9.5 shoe size women?
ive read these socks run large?
Aaron (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
I would recommend you order the woman’s size 9, since they don’t make half sizes. With a neoprene sock you want it snug not lose fit.
