There are better suits, and this one is it!!! Semi Dry is an under statement. Lake Michigan, 45ft, 53 degrees, NO PROBLEM. Its thick, durable and the rubber around the neck, head, feet and hands works very well. You do have limited mobility (as with any suit). Only my hands were cold. Buy the Semi dry gloves. I used regular boots with fins and feet did not get cold. You can enter the suit alone but your buddys help makes it easier, even with front zip. This Suit is best Ive ever worn. Ill never have to rent again.

Hello - Im new to scuba here in the Northeast.
Needed a minimum of 7mm suit plus wanted to have easy entry/exit so I would not need anyones help with the zipper.
This suit looks and feels great - very comfortable, true to size chart, extremely warm and easy to get on or off by yourself.
Yes - of course water gets into a semi dry wetsuit - but because of the neck, wrist and ankle seals - you really dont get much flushing of new water so you feel very warm and comfortable.
While taking my open water cert dives in 53 degree water a few weeks ago - the instructors were freezing in their 7mm wet suits but I was nice and comfy.
The 10 year warranty is great for peace of mind on getting the full life from this suit.

We do not do custom. The waist and chest are the most important measurements for the fit with a wetsuit. Height usually will work even if it is one to two inches short or tall. Weight will depend on the divers body build and is the last measurement to consider.
