Rating: Winter swimming
Reviewer: Maggi Perl, Saturday, October 31, 2009 - View all my reviews
I got this wetsuit for some winter swimming in my pond in WV.
I wanted to get an XL which is what seemed best going by the size chart. Reviews mentioned that sales people were very helpful on size so I let the salesman talk me into a L. Wrong! Had to send it back and get an XL so the size chart was accurate. It is Halloween and the temperature is 50 degrees and the pond water is cold. I was very comfortable swimming a mile. The legs kept my feet up very high until I used a set of ankle weights that helped a whole lot.
Swimming in this suit at this time of year is very enjoyable and hopefully I will be able to swim in much colder temperatures.
Thanks!

Rating: Well made suit

I ordered the Pinnacle 7mm Cruiser and was very impressed with the material and stitching. I needed a larger size and am currently waiting for it to arrive (it is back ordered...) My rating is based on examination of the suit, I have not had it on in water yet.

I have used this suit 4 times and am very satisfied with the warmth and quality. I did have to add an awful lot of weight for bouyancy but hopefully as I use the suit I can eliminate some of the weight. Hank

The suit was excelent. It was sized as per the chart. I wore a dive skin under it and with boots, gloves and a hood I was warm at 85 feet in 44 degree water. I really like the zippered legs. I have recomended this suit to others.

So far the suit is doing a good job. Used the online guide for fitting. It fit well also the suit is well made. Has heavy duty zippers and seams are reinforced on the inside. I just did some dives at Rawlins Lake, Va. It was an old quarry. Down to 35ft temps were very warm. Hit strong thermoclines down to 60 ft. and head ach cold water. Suit did very well. Went back and got my hoody. Much better!!!!

Good suit, keeps me warm diving 4-6 hours in 70 degree water. The leg zippers make it much easier to get in the suit. As of late the stitching has been coming apart in multiple places, if it gets any worse ill probably return it. Other than that its an excellent suit that I definitely recommend.

This is a well made wetsuit for a very good price. The sizing is very accurate, I am 511 - 160lbs and the medium tall fit perfect. The zippers are good quality YKKs (not the cheap plastic ones) and make donning the suit very easy. The neoprene is quite flexible and all the seams are done well and reinforced at the stress points. It has nice knee pads, shoulder pads and a nice thick spine pad.
I got this suit for warm weather cave dives when I dont want to wear a drysuit. Those water the temps are consistent at 72* and the suit kept me quite warm on 90-minute + dives.
This is a good value wetsuit.

Rating: Great Item
Reviewer: Brian B., Sunday, April 26, 2009
This jumpsuit is great! Let me say this first, I do not scuba dive and I did not get the suit to do any diving. I live in Alabama and the waters on the lakes here are warm (with no wet-suits needed) most of the year. I wakeboard all the time and decided to get serious about it. That meant riding in the winter months of Feb./Mar./Apr. The water doesnt get warm enough to swim in until mid May so I decided to invest in a wet-suit. Couldnt have asked for a better one. I put this thing through hell boarding with it. It is flexible, and easy to put on and most of all it kept me warm in very cold water. I didnt get chilled once. It warms quickly and does the job perfectly. The size chart is tricky, I would recommend a size up but other than that, I am more than happy with my purchase. Scuba.com did great with the shipping too.
