Rating: Good light for the price....
Reviewer: DeeAnna W.
i purchased two of these dive lights, one in pink and one in yellow. the light is reasonably compact and plenty bright for what i need. id recommend it for the casual rec diver or as a backup to a better dive light. loaded with 8 aa batteries, the light will add about 1 lb to your overall weight. i followed the advice in other reviews to add a thin coat of silicone grease to the o-rings and threads of the front cap (what you unscrew to get to the batteries). i also dismantled the power switch and lightly coated the o-ring seals with silicone grease as well. after greasing, i havent seen any leaks, but i dont have long term experience with the light either. (you can find silicone grease in a good hardware store look in the plumbing section.) the lock to keep the power switch from accidentally turning on is rather weak and needs improvement to really be reliable. but i can live with that. this is a good dive light for the price....

Reviewer: Julie P.
A friend brought this light on a sailing trip to the British Virgin Islands. We had a ball using it to see fish at night under the boat and a few of us even took a night snorkel trip that was amazing. Easy & light to pack.

Rating: Only one of two worked
Reviewer: Troy Woodyard  -  View all my reviews
Bought two of these lights for a recent dive trip to Domican Republic. One light failed on the first dive. The seal let sea water into the housing and the ruined the light. The other one worked great and was far brighter than the light I had to borrow from the Dive Shop. Hopefully I can exchange the bad one.

This light is great for the brightness of the beam and the lenght of battery life. It fits your hand well and is easy to turn on and off. If it continues to perform as it has so far, I would give it a 5 star rating.

Rating: Over all good light
Reviewer: Darren L.
This is one of the brightest lights I have ever used. I am a commercial diver so I use this light on a daily basis. So far it has stood up to every day abuse. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is the battery life. I can only get an 8 hour day out of it in cold water, but for most people that should be more than long enough for their needs

Rating: Bright Little Light
Reviewer: Harlon P.  -  View all my reviews
Just purchased this light and used it on a 65 dive in water with less than 5 of visibility. It worked great! Very bright, focused beam made it easy to read my gauges. Very sturdy and the button that locks the switch off will ensure that it doesnt go on in my gear bag. Because of the LED format, it does not get hot. A great choice for a dive light!

Reviewer: Darren S.  -  View all my reviews
Great light, good levels of illumination. On-Off switch has a locking feature that could be a bit more positive (bumped light on in BCD pocket and didnt find out for a while) but this light didnt depleate the batteries as a conventional light would so it worked out well. I really like the feature of sealing the case and then NOT twisting the lens (Leakage point in past dive lights) to turn it off or on.

Took this with me on 10 dives including one night dive. It puts out a lot of light in a very small package. Nice strong white light. I think this could be used as a primary light and was very handy to have on my BC for looking in caves and nooks during the day.

Reviewer: Kevin Katchmar  -  View all my reviews
Long lasting and real bright. This light is in between a spot and a flood so it illuminates a nice wide path. Its a little bulky for a pocket flashlight but the extra batteries give peace of mind when youre in a dark spot for a long time.

Rating: Great Light (but check it first!)
Reviewer: Nancy G.  -  View all my reviews
our first light failed about three minutes into its first use on a night snorkel fortunately, we had the little suprema mini that came with it as backup. i had applied a light layer of silicone "grease" to the threads and o-ring as described in the manual before use. three attempts to "rehabilitate" the light as described in the manual failed, but it was promptly and cheerfully replaced by scuba.com. when the light worked it was great (bright light, easy to handle) and another couple on our trip had the same light and had no trouble with it. i guess the moral is to check your light before you go!

Rating: Good deal for a good light.
Reviewer: James Barry  -  View all my reviews
I purchased this light as a replacement for one I broke that belonged to my girlfriend. That is why a man bought a pink flashlight. I needed a dive light to complete the night and deep dives for Master Diver certification. I neede also to replace her pink light, so I bought her a pink light for me to use. It worked great for the training dives. The compact size and brightness worked well for the murky waters we dove in. The fact that it came with a little bitty back-up dive light for free was nice too. For the occasional night diver, I see nothing wrong with this light. If night diving in murky water was how I dove most of my dives, however, I would purchase a bigger unit and use this as the backup.

I actually bought this light as a Christmas Gift for my nephew but I do have one myself. It works great and is very dependable. I used it on a 50night dive during a trip to Bonaire. My lights worked great while my brothers blew up at about 25 feet - and he paid twice as much as I did!

This is the second Princeton Tec light Ive owned, and Ive really liked both of them. For their small size they give a good color, bright beam. My first one died because a battery leaked and corroded the internal metal, so I replaced it with another. (My only complaint is that the batteries that come with the light conked out halfway through the first dive!)

Rating: Nice Light!
Reviewer: Donald Kendrick
This is a very nice light, compact and bright. Its a great light for a night dive, far brighter than the average three-c-cell battery lights. Its also an excellent light to carry all the time to peek into those dark holes. The locking on/off switch keeps the light off when you want it off and yet is easy to unlock and switch on with one hand. Its also an excellent back-up light for cavern, cave, and wreck divers, providing more light than the more commonly used scout-type backup lights.

The lighting power on this light is very good. It makes a secure backup light, and I use it on almost every day dive in limited viz areas to explore or to signal others. Having a switch to turn on/off was very nice instead of having to screw in the head/bulb to turn on and off. Great price, just bought another one for my wife.

Reviewer: Joshua S.  -  View all my reviews
My new favorite light, it is waterproof to 600 ft, utilizes an extremely bright single LED (solid unbreakable, lifetime use), uses common AA batteries (easy to find in small towns where you may be traveling), small and compact, the on/off switch is easily operated with one hand. Bright enough to light up a large living room or other space in case of power outage. Provides a long-reaching beam of bright white light, while still casting enough light on the sides to aid your periferal vision. I would like to see a more scratch-resistant lens (maybe hard-coated polycarbonate or even glass).
