This is a decent retractable compass that serves its purpose well.
I like the length of the extension cord that comes with it, and it has all of the basic functions that you would expect from a retractable compass these days.

Compass works great. I love that it has the ability to either clip onto you BCD or can screw onto your gauge hose. Very versitile. Would recommend this product to anywone that needs a reliable compass.

Its a retractible compass! Great to clip to the BC. Standard compass with bezel. The nice thing is that it can also adapt to fit onto a hose the way it is designed. Nice little extra feature I thought. Compass will bind up a little if you tilt too far up or down to look at it. Otherwise, its worth the money.

The compass works well, has a glowing dial for low light situations, and is always on my BC with the retractor. Much more convenient than having a wrist mounted compass, but YMMV.
Do not clip anything else to the retractor wire: it is too small in caliber to be sure that another clip will stay on. I lost a small reference book that appeared to be clipped to the wire!

Simple compass

Comes attached to a retractor via hose mount. Two mounting options come with it, either by keyring or plastic clip. The only issues I have with it is that they put a company bar code sticker on the compass window in between the rubber mount and the compass which was impossable to pull off without twisting and turning making the lubber line a tad offset. But still worth having!

Excellent product. Easy to retrieve and attach to any point you want on the BCD. Easy to read with bevel impossible to freely move on its own. Definitely recommend this-easier than using a compass in a console or wrist.

Product performed is stated in literature. The mounting clip is two part, the first part clips to the BCD, the second to the compass retractor, allowing for easy removal of the compass from the BCD, nice touch.
