Rating: Powerful Fins

I was looking for fins that would provide me with plenty of power when I need it, and split fins just wont do that. I dont get fatigued using these fins, but take my fitness seriously so may not be the same for the typical diver.
If you want more powerful and more rigid fins to get you through or out of currents these are great for the money.

Have worn these fins for 15 dives and am very satisfied with them. They are comfortable and seem very efficient in the water. The straps are easy to slip over the heal and tighten in the water or on the boat.

I really like diving in these fins. They are comfortable and the membranes allow the fins to cup which make them easier on your legs, calves and feet. As an older diver this is important to me. They are open heel style witch I like best. The quality is very good for the price. I plan to buy a pair for my wife when she recovers from her knee surgery.

good fin and excellent buckle system. I personally dont like big paddle fins and bought these as backups. I usually use Force fins and these feel a lot different. Those folks who like a big paddle fin will love these. I compared them to the superchannel Mares fins and find these stiffer.
I am considering cutting out the central rubber gusset to make a pair of "splits " out of them. As they are now , they are too stiff and "draggy" in the water for my current preference.

I bought my pair of power plana avanti fins in 1989...still dive with them today, hundreds of dives latter, my wife has a pair from 1994, and this new pair is for my just cerified 12 year old son...they are alot like my wifes, but have added a nice easy open latch for the strap on the side. Lots of power, light weight, and I am sure they will also last for years and years....buy good stuff, its worth it!

I bought a pair of these for my 12yr.old Daughter who is a new diver. They worked out great, the ease in taking the fins on and off proved benificial in getting her in and out of the water. Highly recomended!

I purchased these for my wife who has trouble with her legs getting tired. My wife also has really small feet. she loves her new fins and says its like not wearing fins at all except for the power that it gives her in the water.

I have been diving for 35 years, and these are some of the nicest fins Ive seen. The material is supple and pliable, yet rigid where it needs to be. Most impressive are the strap adjusters with their quick release that maintains the desired tightness when putting them back on.
These were perfect for my seven year old son, now I wish I had a pair!

Although these fins were some of the least expensive ones on the website, they performed incredibly well. I can not imagine getting better performance for under $200 and these were under $70. Definetely buy these!

Just got back from a week in Nassau with these. Good solid fin. Takes a bit more muscle to move these, but they will get you moving quickly. Tough design, loved the quick release. Worked great.
