About Pelican Pelican Products, Inc. is the global leader in design and manufacture of both high-performance case solutions and advanced portable lighting systems. Their products are used by professionals in the most demanding markets including firefighters, police, defense / military, aerospace, entertainment, industrial and consumer. Pelican products are designed and built to last a lifetime. The company’s 200,000 square feet corporate headquarters, located in Torrance, California (just south of Los Angeles) now serves as the home office for nearly 1,500 employees worldwide. In addition to operating in 12 countries, with 22 offices worldwide, Pelican also maintains six manufacturing locations in North America and Europe; Torrance, California (Corporate) - South Deerfield, Massachusetts -Greenfield, Indiana - Crottendorf, Germany - Market Deeping, UK. Pelican was founded in 1976 by Dave Parker in a Torrance, California garage. An avid Scuba diver since age 11, Parker recognized the need for rugged flashlights and cases that wouldn’t leak or fail. So he set out to build a better product than any other on the market. With years of hard work and sacrifice, Pelican™ Products became a reality with its first product patent, the Pelican Float. The legendary SabreLite™ flashlights and Protector™ Cases soon followed. Pelican’s product line and company grew steadily over the years and, in 2004, the company was acquired by private equity firm Behrman Capital. Shortly thereafter, the company experienced an incredible growth trend under a new CEO, Lyndon Faulkner, who was appointed in 2005. With a rich and diverse background, Faulkner came to Pelican Products from Microsoft Corporation where he served as North American Operations Manager helping to launch industry-changing products such as the XBOX®, Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2000. Additionally he built the compact-disc manufacturing pioneer Technicolor®/ Nimbus into an IPO as they introduced the world to digital media with compact discs (CDs) and digital video discs (DVDs). After a few years of ramping up the organization, 2008 was a banner year that saw Pelican Products execute an aggressive growth strategy highlighted with international expansion and acquisitions. This resulted in new sales offices and manufacturing facilities across the globe, the creation of Pelican Australia, the launch of the Advanced Area Lighting Group and exponential growth following the purchase of its nearest case competitor, Hardigg Industries, which nearly doubled the company’s size overnight and made it the largest manufacturer of equipment protection cases in the world. Most recently Pelican acquired Trimcast Pty. Ltd., an Australian-based custom packaging solutions provider. Pelican’s international expansion continues with the opening of sales office in South Korea, India, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. |

| Pelican Nemo 8C Light Reviews
Reviewer: Ray G. on 7/27/2007 Best value and design available for a primary dive light - Weve used three different lights while diving and love the Nemo 8C. The price, design, function, and incredible brightness of the Nemo 8C make it the best full-sized dive light on the market. It is easily comparable to dive lights costing five times as much (the Nemo 8C is brighter though), but in a much more compact package due to the design. The lifetime operating cost might seem high at first because you only get 30 hours on primary bulb. Look at it this way, if you invest the difference in price to other models on replacement bulbs, youd have over 300 hours of night/cave/cavern diving with the Nemo 8C before you reached the price of the $150 flashlights. Thats a lot of diving... View Full Review |

| Pelican Rechargeable Stealthlite Light Reviews
Reviewer: EDNA DECASTRO on 11/15/2007 ITS RECHARGEABLE - FINALLY AN AFFORDABLE RECHARGEABLE UNDERWATER LIGHT. I WAS QUITE PLEASED AS HOW BRIGHT THE LIGHT IS AND ITS PORTABLE SIZE...NO NEED TO PACK SPARE BATTERIES. ONLY DRAWBACK IS THAT IT WORKS ONLY 110V CURRENT AND NOT DUAL 110/220V. |

| Pelican 1120 Protective Dry Box Reviews
Reviewer: William P. on 9/22/2008 Great little case - Meets all the advertised qualities of a Pelican case. I ordered this for my "save-a-dive" kit but it was a little too small. Sent it back and order the 1150 model instead, which proved to be just right. |
