| Oceanic Dive Downloader - USB Reviews
Reviewer: Eric Evans on 12/8/2007
Does the job, but... - i like my vt pro computer, but i think its a shame that the usb cordnecessary for uploading dive data to any computerdoesnt come standard. paying $400-500 for a computer is one thing, but an additional $79 for a simple usb cord stings. i cant imagine the meager additional profit is worth the customer aggravation such add-on costs cause.
the product itself works just fine, though the addition of a software cd would have been welcome. the program is a free download from the company website, but its just another example of oceanic asking the customer to jump through hoops for basic functionality.
the product works, and is absolutely necessary to keep a full, feature-rich catalog of... View Full Review

| Oceanic Ultra Dry Mini Snorkel Reviews
Reviewer: Julia Johnson on 5/26/2007
Not waterproof but nice anyway - Unlike the ad, water DOES get into these snorkels - many times in the kind of light waves in Maui - 8 to 12 inch waves.
They are however easy to clear and do prevent major swallowing of water that old style snorkels would allow. Not a bad buy for that reason alone. Saved me a couple of times when I had equipment problems and looked down into the water while trying to breath reflexively. Other dry snorkels appear to offer the same benefits so Im not convinced the higher price of this snorkel is worth it if the others prevent snorkels from flooding as well. If you do buy this I doubt you will ever find a way to flood the snorkel which I think is absolutely necessary not only to prevent a bad... View Full Review

| Oceanic Air XS II Reviews
Reviewer: Jung K. on 2/3/2007
One less hose, but could be better - The Oceanic Air XS II works just as advertised. It was relatively easy for me to replace the inflator on my BC. My BC must have come with a slightly different hose than the Air XS was meant for. The Air XS came with a clip thats supposed to cover the hose connector, but it wont fit on my hose.
The inflator and the purge valve are easy to find. But the dump button is kind of small and will take some time for me to locate without looking.
I am happy with the Air XS II and very happy to get rid of one hose. Im sorry I waited so long to make the change.

| Oceanic Pocket Semi-Dry Snorkel Reviews
Reviewer: Robert L. on 1/27/2007
Bottom Line: "I would buy it again" - My son and I went to Roatan and dove with the standard snorkel hanging off of our heads all of the time. A friend recommended switching to a foldable snorkel and simply keeping it in a pocket on the BC. This model from Oceanic is well engineered and works like a charm. In advance you simply place a very small mating disk (similar to rebust velcro) to the strap of your mask (less than the size of a quarter) and when you want your snorkel on the surface BAM! you whip it out of its BC pocket and attach to your mask strap and you are in business. Super quick and ends the presence of a useless underwater snorkel.

| Oceanic Ultra Dry Snorkel Reviews
Reviewer: DIRK D. on 12/29/2010
Best Snorkel Ever!! - So this little gem is probably my favorite piece of dive equipment I own. What is there to a snorkel right? a hole that goes to the surface for air? My old snorkel (or straw as i like to call it now) broke and I opted for a more expensive one with low expectations of it actually being a "Dry" snorkel but after about 20 to 30 dives I can honestly say its dryer than dry. I thought i would kind miss barley making it to the surface before forcing out all the water but I really dont! Absolutely zero water gets caught up in this snorkel and the only draw back i can think of is being about a foot under water and trying to take a breath and getting no air (cause its capped off) or sometimes I try... | Oceanic Used VT3 Air/Nitrox Hoseless Dive Computer Reviews
Reviewer: Patrick Reardon on 8/12/2007
VT3 Air/Nitrox Hoseless Dive Computer Computer with Transmitter - This is a great dive computer. Air-integrated, hoseless and worn on the wrist. Rapid acquisition of the transmitter signal. A great improvement over the previous generation of dive computer which I upgraded from. All of the essential information is easily accessed. Good ergonomics on the buttons. Easily accessed and used while wearing my gloves. The display has a large readout which is helpful for someone like me who uses "cheaters" (bifocals) to read. Included software and connections for downloading dive information, but I had repeated errors trying to use with Windows XP. I highly recommend this dive computer.

| Oceanic Veo 1.0 Air / Nitrox 2-Gauge Dive Computer Console Reviews
Reviewer: David Robenalt on 4/16/2010
Best "Average Joe" Nitrox Computer - If you are the kind of NITROX diver that wants to enjoy your dives to the max, and hates messing with all your gear before, during, and after..... this computer is for you! I work in a very high tech environment everyday, and have owned 3 dive computers before this one. If you are just going to dive air, they all are fairly easy to use just leave on default settings, but switch to NITROX and most of these are way more computer than what most sport divers need or want and almost impossible to program and reset for each dive. The Oceanic Veo 1.0Air/Nitrox gives you just enough flexability, but makes settings and repetitive dives almost effortless. Nitrox settings can be set for your first... View Full Review

| Oceanic GT3/CDX5 Scuba Regulator Reviews
Reviewer: David Howard on 5/20/2007
BEST DECISION I MADE! - I bought everything from scuba.com and this was my strongest decision. 2nd stage is lite and well designed. Easy to breath, especially since you can adjust. This is my first regulator that is diver adjustable and didnt understand fully the adjustment, but once I got in the water it was clear and easy to move the knob and make the regulator match what I liked. You dont have to be an expert diver to take advantage of this adjustable 2nd stage. Hoses are durable. 1st Stage has just the right amount of accessories without spending money on features you dont need. This product is 10 stars!!!
