Dive Rite knows that making great gear isn’t enough, that’s why every Dive Rite product is backed by one of the industries most serious warranties. Combine that with a knowledgeable and caring staff and it’s no wonder we get such rave reviews on our customer service. Great gear and great service it’s the perfect combination. Our specific warranty requirements appear either in the owner’s manuals or in the product information that accompanies most items but there are several other things you should keep in mind.
- Items must be purchased from an authorized Dive Rite dealer. Otherwise, there is no way we can guarantee that what you buy is a genuine Dive Rite item, that it has not been used and that original parts have not been replaced with lower quality substitutes.
- For items such as BC’s, regulators, dive computers and lighting systems, you must register your warranty by either sending in the warranty card or by registering on line, through Dive Rite’s website.
- You will also need to provide us with a copy of your original sales receipt, showing date of purchase and dealer name.

| Dive Rite Nitek Duo 2 Gauge Console Reviews
Reviewer: Lynn F. on 5/19/2007
Great computer for a good price - Having used this computer for a couple months now I have been able to determine its strengths and weaknesses. The strengths are as follows:
1. Self adjusts for altitude. (Most of my dives are high altitude fresh water dives between 4,500 – 11,000 feet. It is nice not to have to worry about programming altitudes in it).
2. Allows for two gases, programming and switching between them while under water.
3. Easy computer to learn and use (as opposed to my Suunto Cobra II).
4. Large easy to read numbers with the primary screen containing the depth, dive time, no decompression limit, PO2 monitor, oxygen and nitrogen absorption bar graphs, and accent rate.
5. Has a built in 3 minute safety... View Full Review

| Dive Rite Valve Reviews
Reviewer: Calvin Won on 4/6/2009
Dive Rite 300 Bar DIN - what can i say? i din valve is a din valve. i swapped out the provalves that came stock with my faber hp100s (bought from this site) with these because my 1st stage has an acd conversion on it, which makes the "screw" slightly longer. when you remove the on the provalve to use it as a 200 bar din, it is not very deep (only about 5 threads, or so). the screw on my 1st stage stuck out a little too far for my comfort, so i went with these 300 bar dins which are deeper. this is one of the few 300 bar dins on this site that fit a 3/4" thread (most are 1/2", intended for use on a 3500 psi cylinder).
cool thing about this valve is that it can be used if you decide to dive with a dual cylinder... View Full Review

| Dive Rite Thigh Pocket Reviews
Reviewer: Marc StClair on 8/4/2008
Deep extra pocket on thigh - This adds an extra pocket for your diving needs besides using your BCD pockets (if you have any on your BCD). It is deep enought to hold instructor dive slates, lightweight gloves, and misc dive items. This pocket allows the diver quick and easy access to stowed gear while on a dive. Instead of searching for items in BCD pockets or carabiners. It has a lanyard inside the pocket to secure things from floating out when pocket is opened. The top strap connects to a D-ring on the bottom of the BCD and has a clip for easy removal. The pocket flap has a velcro closure. The drawbacks for this prodcut are thigh pocket does slide a bit while being worn on the leg and there is excess strap... View Full Review

| Dive Rite Wrist Slate Reviews
Reviewer: Richard S. on 6/23/2008
An Almost Perfect Slate - this slate has several good features: 1)the option of using either a velcro strap or elastic bands to hold it in place (i prefer the elastic bands) 2)the solid carbon stick pencil (as opposed to the "putt-putt golf" pencils of other brands) and 3)the slate leaves are held together with a thick elastic band instead of less robust o-rings. the only thing that keeps this from being a 5-star product is the ease with which the pencli can be pulled loose from the lanyard (i almost lost the pencil the first time i dove with it).

| Dive Rite Dive Writes Reviews
Reviewer: Saad Dawood on 8/22/2006
For Underwater Novelists - Running out of slate space happens all the time. Especially when doing detailed mapping, course headings and so forth. I bought the notebook to offer more space and multiple pages. A great and unexpected feature is the perforation on each page which allows it to be torn out of the notebook to be handed to say another diver.
The pages themselves are of good quality and stand up to cleaning/erasing well. The book is not as easy to use as a slate (due to a lack of rigidity) but I carry it on me all the time in any case. My only complaint would be the supplied pencil. It is sized just like a dry-world pencil - which makes it difficult to grasp and use (esp. with gloves on). Plus it is quite... View Full Review

| Dive Rite Wrist and Hose Mount Compass Reviews
Reviewer: Karen C. on 6/12/2008
Serves its purpose - I like this compass and the option to either mount on a wrist or hose. Ive only used it on a couple dives so far and have had it mounted on my hose above my other guages. Its obviously not as nice as having a compass as one of the built-in guages, and was a little bit awkward to handle, but it guided me through kelp forests ok! I will probably only have it attached when I go diving somewhere where I think I will definitely need a compass, because if you dont need it, it feels a bit bulky to have attached if youre not using it.

| Dive Rite Double Band Kit Reviews
Reviewer: gary f. on 6/8/2009
What they dont tell you! - The doubles bands that I purchased did not come with bolts long enough to attach to your bc back plate.
If you have a dive planned, pay the extra expedite fee so you can get your bands in time to locate stainless steel rods to cut and make your own bolts. Because Lowes/Home Depot and most hardware stores do not carry 8" steel threaded bolts in stock. I paid an extra $35 for a stainless steel threaded rod, nuts, and washers at Ace Hardware to make my own bolt assembly. It would have been more convenient if scuba.com included longer bolts and allowed the customer to cut to size, rather than including shorter bolts that dont work.

| Dive Rite Crotch Strap Reviews
Reviewer: Spencer H. on 10/13/2008
practical and adaptable... - This strap has worked well in three configurations, on a backplate and on two different manufacturers BCDs. There is a buckle that simplifies connecting to the waist band when donning your kit.
Ive found it comfortable with a scooter when I use a drysuit. It left more room where it was needed and a 2" stap did not.
A friend just used it with a BCD to scooter. He was not very comfortable until he switched to a 2" strap.
YMMV
All in all, Id recommend this for any rig subject to personal requirements. - and a crotch strap is needed in many circumstances.

| Dive Rite Gaiters Reviews
Reviewer: Yasuko Okada on 10/12/2006
Could be better - Like most drysuit divers, I want to keep air from getting trapped in my legs. Ankle weights can drag your feet down and set your body at a plane in the water though you are more efficient and trim in a horizontal position. Thats where gaiters come in. They dont drag your feet down, but they should be snug enough to keep air from getting trapped in your legs and possibly causing a feet-up floatiness.
These DiveRite gaiters have three clip attachments. Youll have to adjust each one and cut-and-burn the excess off, or stuff it back underneath once you are done.
Ive seen the Halcyon gaiters, which wrap the entire leg. In retrospect Id rather use the Halcyon ones because they dont require... View Full Review

| Dive Rite DIN to Yoke Adaptor Reviews
Reviewer: Kemp L. on 12/16/2008
simple - just the way it should be - The converter was exactly what we needed on a recent trip to Hawaii. We rented HP tanks so our DIN first stages were just fine, but then we decided to go out on a Manta Ray dive and had to use the tanks already on the boat. These were neutral Aluminums (which was nice), but they had yoke. I pulled out the converters and in no time, we were able to use our own regs.
A very nice to have in your travel kit as you just never know. They are very heavy duty as well.

| Dive Rite SeeMe Float Safety Sausage (SMB) Reviews
Reviewer: john pierce on 3/1/2009
best ive found - of all the safety sausages ive used, i like this one the best. good design and easy to inflate, easily stores in a bc pocket. I went with the yellow one, it shows up a little better on night dives, for wich you can also attach a light stick, it has a place built in for that. good purchase!
