Get the stainless!

I have the aluminum, which is okay. (I got a great deal on it) But it is prone to corrosion, because the anodize gets scratched by the hardware that holds your doubles in place. Certainly buying new, the extra $15 for the stainless is well worth it. Titanium is just silly, unless you wear zero lead on your weight belt. Zeagle is the bomb!

I use this with my double 131 OMS tanks. Very secure with the heavy tanks. Also very easy to go back and forth with single tanks. I am a rescue diver with a rescue squad. This allows for many variations with dive set up.

Zeagle Back-Plates have extended slots for easy cylinder mounting. These back-plates can be used with single or twin cylinders without an additional adaptor and can easily mount any current Zeagle Bladder assembly. Made from stainless-steel or anodized aluminum, with the stainless-steel model weighing 5 lbs. (2.27 kg) and the anodized aluminum weighing 1.7 lbs. (0.77 kg) allowing every technical diver's needs fulfilled. Both models measure (H x W) 15.75" x 9.5" (40cm x 24.1cm) and include a complete bladder hardware mounting kit.

Michel L  It doesn't come with a harness, and yes it will work with the Zeagle Ranger. I use this backplate on my own Ranger.

BROOKE O  The picture on the web page is very misleading. This is a bare backplate that does not come with any straps or harnesses at all.
HITOSHI S  It didn't come with a crotch strap. Because it also didn't come with any document to describe how it can be attatched, I haven't been able to attatch it although I bought it long time ago.
