This light easily clips on to gear with the attached swivel snap gate clip and split ring. Just jump in the water and light will automatically turn on and begin to blink in bright color choices of green, blue, white or red colors, your choice. The multi-faceted crystal lens provides ample brightness for great visibility. Light has a battery life of 300-hours and is depth rated to 200' (60m).

Shopper  Can I carry this on a dive and have it turned OFF if I don't want to look like a Christmas tree and turn ON if I need to?
Cristina E  Unfortunately, it does not have a on/off switch or dial. The metal sensor on the outside is whats enabling it to be activated. Once the light touches any form of continues water( even when your washing your gear), the light starts blinking. I just kept mine attached until the battery life was used up.
