Mouthpiece Clamp

Purchased as a backup for 21 year old regulator that has had the mouthpiece replaced several times. Part is exactly as advertised and a perfect match/fit with the original clamp. Will be ready for use on the next mouthpiece replacement.

Shopper  I purchased this a couple months ago and was able to open it. I wanted to try it out on my new mouthpiece today and can't get the darn thing open. What is the trick?
LAWRENCE D  The small clasp needs to be pushed outward, then a small flathead object under the clip to pop it open. It is a little stiff when new but becomes easier through use, I've used these for years and are great and convenient
Shopper  Will this fit the Atomic Aquatics T2 or SS1?
JIM W  not sure about either of those but I have a sherwood and the thing won't fit on it. Waste of money.
LEONARD R  I won't guarantee that it will, but it does fit my Atomic Aquatics M1.

STEVE U  I had a worn mouth piece on a scuba pro regulator that had this clamp on it as original equipment. I replaced the mouth piece and reused this clamp. The clamp was easy to remove and reinstall, so I decided to purchase some for my other regs.
BENJAMIN A S  These work great and they last a very long time.They may be hard to install ,Due to tightness(At least on my reg.).Bottom line,I really love them.

STEVE S  It can be a really tight fit - i got it to snap in place on my reg, but was unable to do so on my snorkel. When snapped in place, it has a smooth profile - unlike the tie-wrap's sharp trim remnant.
