Works well. The clip is really hard to get off with 5mm gloves, but I have mine on a lanyard and never need to unclip it underwater.

Great communication tool for when you can't talk while beneath the surface. Underwater slate comes with both pencil clip and pencil tethered made of latex tubing to prevent lose. Slate is blank on both sides for lots of writing area. Slate is also equipped with a Split Ring Tethered Plastic Non-Corrosive Impact Resistant 360-Degree swivel Gate Clip to attach to Lanyard or BCD for ease of use. Slate measures 4.5" x 7.75" (11.4cm x 19.7cm).
