The Genesis 17" (43.2cm) power inflator with rapped pull dump and LP Inflator Hose will fit all current models of Genesis and Sherwood BCD's. The Genesis Power Inflator has a durable corrugated hose equipped with threaded hand wheel to attach to the BCD manifold. The inflator mechanism is made from a durable impact resistant plastic with a corrosion resistant chrome plated brass quick disconnect fitting and a unique modular inflation button for quick and easy maintenance when required.
A comfortable and easy to use oral inflation mouthpiece angled for easy inflation in the coldest diving conditions. The 3/8" threaded LP Hose will thread into most first stage regulator LP Ports and the hose is a durable braided with neoprene jacket hose equipped with marine grade chrome plated quick disconnect coupler and threads. This power inflator is intended to fit Genesis And Sherwood Current Bcd'S. Any modification or attempt to use with a different BCD is not advised.

Will this fit a "Cobra" BCD? If so, what other parts would I need to purchase?

I have used this on a cobra bcd. Make sure you have the large rubber washer that goes between the inflator and the Bc fitting.

Thank you, Richard. I had a temporary fix, but I now really do need to replace the inflator, and find a slight discrepancy between my model and this part. I have the Cobra, not the current Cobra LD model. This inflator hose is 17". But the original hose is 18". Do you think this part will still fit? Also, is the large, rubber washer something commonly available in dive shops that do not stock Genesis?

does this fit a dacor talon bcd with one inch hose?

The only problem may be with the elbow nut at the top of the power inflator. It may not attach to the Dacor BC. If the elbow nut is salvageable from the Dacor BC, just attach the power inflator to that, and take the Genesis one off.
