About Dive Rite XT1
Dive Rite's XT Regulator introduces a new era of regulator performance with its advanced, patented design, earning high praise from Mike Ward of Dive Lab. With a work of breathing under 1.0 J/l, it competes with top regulators in the market. The XT1 first-stage regulator features five 3/8" threaded low-pressure ports for optimal hose routing, catering to back mount technical divers seeking a streamlined setup. One top turret LP port is designed for safety and convenience, with a slightly convex and slotted surface to accommodate an 11/16" wrench. The regulator also has two high-pressure ports angled at 90 degrees from the DIN/Yoke fitting for perfect hose routing.
Pending CE EN 250 certification for cold water use, the balanced diaphragm, black chrome-plated marine brass first stage is environmentally sealed. This prevents internal parts from being exposed to contaminants like salt, sand, or chlorine, which can cause corrosion and reduce performance. The XT1's secondary environmental diaphragm membrane seals the spring chamber, offering additional corrosion resistance and cold water protection. The pneumatically balanced design ensures consistent gas pressure regardless of depth or tank pressure.
The second stage regulator features an ergonomic dive/pre-dive Venturi lever, easily adjustable with gloves, and prevents free flow. It uses a pneumatically balanced downstream valve for better performance at depth. The durable, impact-resistant ABS plastic housing and cover are paired with a chromed brass adjustment knob and barrel tube. Stainless-steel spring and lever, as well as Teflon-coated internal parts, make it cold-water ready. The XT Regulator comes with a 28" low-pressure hose, is Nitrox ready, and includes an owner's manual.
