Dive Rite Nomad Side-Mount Weight Plate

Nomad Divers (see SKU: DIV4575) who need to add weight to their rig will want the Nomad Weight Plate. Carrying up to 16 lbs (7.26kg) of weight in 4-separate pockets, the Nomad Weight Plate attaches to the back of the Nomad using the existing grommets in the back-plate. The pockets will accept both hard and soft weights. Formed in the shape of the back-plate, it lies flat and isn't felt by the diver. The grommets of the plate measure at 11.5" (29.2cm) center-to-center, giving an extra 0.5" (1.3cm) of spacing as compared to the grommets of the Nomad back-plate. This allows the plate to align once it is filled with weight as the extra length is absorbed as the plate thickens+.

Super-Fabric Brand Material covers the outside of the plate, legendary toughness of Super-Fabric Brand Technology a technical fabric resistant to cuts, pinches and abrasions. This unique material has been created with a base fabric overlaid with tiny guard plates, this proprietary armored surface, along with material science and strategic geometric patterns, transforms ordinary fabric into Super-Fabric Brand Materials. Weight plate comes with 2 stainless-steel assembly screws for attachment to the back-plate, measures 8.5 x 14" (21.6 x 35.5cm) and weighs 8 oz (227g) when empty.
