Great Quality, trusted brand.

By JOSHLYN J.

Love it. Great quality. I’m a Med/ large in women’s clothing, 34D bust and wear a small in this BC. I have worn this on many trips with no issues. Packs down small.

Try it, you'll love it!

After much searching and trying on BCDs I purchased the Cressi Travelight Women's BCD. I have used it for local quarry and lake dives and it performs as well as any larger, bulky BCD I have ever used but it is really lightweight and packable! There are removable weight pockets with fast, pullout release and zipping pockets for additional soft weights. There are rear weight pockets. It has all the clips and attachments you could possibly need. This is a jacket BCD with a back donut, making it ...

Cressi Travelight BCD

Cressi Travelight BCD

Perfect for travel, the Cressi Travelight BCD is the perfect combination of form and function that makes this model a perfect choice both for dive trips as well as for divers who value the comfort, hydrodynamics and sense of freedom provided by light lean jackets.

Designed for Travel

Extraordinarily practical for transport with space and weight restrictions: 2.5Kg (size M) and, as it can be folded, a stowage volume of just 135 cm³, (36x25x15), a simple “little package”

Cressi Travelight BCD

Lock Aid System 2.0 + Cargo Pockets

Lock Aid System 2.0 facilitates automatic intuitive pocket insertion/extraction, even while wearing the jacket and under challenging conditions. Two spacious, deep pockets with zipper closures and bottom and side gussets ensure plenty of carrying capacity.

Cressi Travelight BCD

Independent Waist Strap

The waist strap is independent of the air bladder so that the jacket will always fit properly without feeling constrictive when inflated.

Cressi Travelight BCD

Included Carrying Case

The Cressi Travelight BCD comes folded in its own carrying case and the folding strap can be used as a crotch strap.

Cressi Travelight BCD
Cressi Travelight BCD

The Cressi Travelight is a lightweight version of a traditional jacket BCD with all around lift to provide good balance and trim under the water and support while on the surface. The overall weight of the Travelight has been reduced by careful selection of strong but light materials to allow the BCD to be packed down into a very small carry bag that is ideal for travelling.

The BCD bladder uses a durable internally urethane laminated 420/210-Denier nylon to provide the necessary strength without adversely affecting the weight and light alloys have been used to make the D-rings in place of traditional stainless-steel. This weight and bulk reduction don't mean that the Travelight is unable to support a full integrated weight system with trim pockets. The Cressi Travelight BCD comes with the integrated lock aid quick-release weight system that hold up to 20 lbs (9kg), with 10 lbs (4.5kg) in each pocket, and two additional rear non-releasable trim weight pockets that help increase-stability in the water.

The Travelight is also fitted with more traditional features such as a rear kidney and right shoulder pull dumps, a inflator integrated pull dump on the left shoulder and manual deflation from the inflator assembly. A large zipped pocket can be found on either side of the BCD for convenient storage of accessories. The Travelight's harness system uses traditional "squeeze-style" quick-release buckles and adjustable straps on the shoulders, chest, and waist for precise adjustment -and fit. A hook and loop adjustable waist cummerbund provide extra security and comfort. A flexible padded back pad with twin cylinder cam bands provides good back protection and cylinder security while still allowing the BCD to be quickly folded and packed away. The BCD comes equipped with a 3/8" low-pressure hose and provides from 13.5 to 36 lbs (6.1 to 16.3kg) of lift and weighs 5 to 6.2 lbs (2.3 to 2.8kg). The Cressi Travelight BCD is available in multiple sizes and comes with an owner's manual.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Elias G  What would be the size for a male this these measures? 1,73 cm height 85cm chest 75cm waist 90 cm hip 60 kg weight
darrick c  Hello Elias, you would need a size Small.
Shopper  I’m looking for a lightweight BCD. My aqua one I’ve had for almost 20 years, but I’m heavy side. It’s the very durable very usable. In your opinion, based on the design of this travel lite, BCD, how durable is it?
JOHNNY H  I've had mine since 2019. It is very light and durable. I HIGHLY recommend this BC. I bought mine and then a few months later, bought one for my wife as well. She loves hers as well!
RICHARD H  We have two - the blue one for me and the pink one for my wife. We travel with them quite a bit on airplanes, cruise ships, all-inclusive dive resorts, you name it. If one was damaged we'd buy an identical unit to replace it. They are as rugged as any other BCD and you shouldn't have any issues with travelling. A couple of other points: * You'll never pack it as tightly as it originally comes in its bag. We received specific instructions on how to pack it like "factory" from Cressi but in doing so, it just feels too crushed. Yes, I'm sure it can take it but I just don't like compressing a BCD that much. That said, even without the factory fold job it packs very tightly. Squeeze all of the air out and it goes nearly flat. The lack of a stiff backplate allows some packing options too. * The lack of the backplate means you have a second, smaller tank strap up top. You'll want to be sure to use it because the tank itself acts as the stiffener. * The controls are in good locations and very intuitive. If I pressed for one complaint, it would be that the pocket zippers are difficult to reach while wearing the unit. You must use the arm on the same side as the pocket and reaching it when it's closed, or when trying to get it fully closed, is very awkward. I haven't really studied it to figure out what I'd do differently but this could benefit from a bit more thought from Cressi. I'd strongly recommend the Travelight to anyone who packs their gear for trips. Hope this helps!
darrick c  Hello, this BCD is 5.5 pound dry weight and if you take care of your gear this BCD will last you for years to come. If you would like to talk to our sales team. Please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
Drina B  I am a 5'4'', 125 lb female, will this fit me well?
Greg B  I love my Cressi travellight BCD. It is a very comfortable fitting BCD and light weight. It packs up very nicely in my dive bag and has all the features I need for attaching my GoPro, light and etc to it. Another great plus to this BCD it drys quickly for packing up.
Mario C  per weight is an XS., having the rest of the measurements will help when looking at the size chart,
SONYA G  Have you had any trouble with getting the integrated weight pockets clicked back into place? They are extremely difficult to re-insert on the Travelight BCD I received.
JOHN T  I like the way they lock in place. It takes some manipulation but you feel confident that they will not slip out once you hear them click in.
Russ R  I haven't been diving for a couple of years but I don't recall any problems. I love that BC.
DAVID G  My wife and I both dive with the Travelight and don't have any problem with the weight pockets. They require a bit of effort to snap into place, but nothing I would call extremely difficult.
RICHARD G  No problem.
Mario C  Most BCDs with that similar type of buckle are a bit harder to get the locked click, specially when new. This is on purpose, so once it has been used for a while it does not come undone unwillingly. Always make sure weight pouches are properly clicked in before jumping in the water Dive dive dive!!
DAVID M  They have been fine for me. Be sure to deflate your vest, which will make insertion easier.
RICHARD R  No I haven’t. They are a secure fit to minimize the chance of them falling out - personally, I find that desirable. But there are many BCs to choose from.
GIORGIO B  Is this the latest 2020 Cressi B.C.D.  model Lightwing?
DUSTY P  no
Theo K  This model is the Cressi Travellight jacket Giorgio. The light wing is a back-inflation bcd. https://www.cressi.com/catalogue/cressitech.asp?id=1388
