Very Nice Gauge

By Jeffrey C.

 -  Fortson, GA, US

All Gauges are not created equal and this one is a good example. More thought was put into this gauge than some of the others I've seen. I love the color coding making it easy to know your pressure without actually having to read it. The eyelets are usable and large making it easy to connect snap links. It glows very well also. I've dove it in the dark and it was very easy to read and my eyes aren't that great. It's simply a really good looking gauge and in my opinion more so than th...

The Cressi 2 Gauge Console is a small and compact console that houses a Cressi pressure gauge and depth gauge. The console gauge modules are constructed with a strong and durable chromium plated brass cases. The Cressi 2 Gauge Console is a great mini console for better streamlining and a versatile option for minimalist divers. The pressure gauge has 0 to 5000 psi readout with color coding of bright red from 0 to 600 psi fading into safety green from 600 psi to 2000 psi and then fading into blue from 2000 psi to full scale of 5000 psi. Color coding allows quick and easy at-a-glance reading of pressure.

The depth gauge has a maximum depth of 230'. Like the pressure gauge the gauge face is color coded for ease of readability. The depth gauge is coded in safety green for 0' to 60' with orange dots at 10' and 20' for safety and decompression stops. At the depth of 60' to 120' the color is blue and from 120' to 230' the color coding is caution orange. The depth gauge has a maximum depth indicator that stops on the maximum depth reached during the dive. This function is extremely handy for logging of dive information. Both instruments are entirely luminescent for low light or night diving conditions. The console offers two loops for instrument fastening and boasts large and legible reading. Compact rubber boot is textured for a sure grip. Console is equipped with a 7/16" threaded hose and weighs 14.82 oz (420g).

Questions about this item:

David T  Is this Nitrox compatible?
CHRISTOPHER H  Yes, it is.
Brison G  Yes up to 40 % I have used it with nitrox no problems
Shopper  Is this designed to allow a wrist mounted Leonardo/Giotto to replace the depth gauge?
ROMEO E  I would think so because the depth gauge case is independent of the gauge case. However I would strongly recommend to check with Cressi direct. Good luck!
Mike T  Hi There, Yes you can put the wrist computer into this console.
PATRICK M  While diving in Air Mode, the Giotto shows your current depth, max depth, dive time, NO DECO time limit, and assent display, so yes, I use it as my depth gauge.
Fernando Gabrie R  Yes, you can replace the depth gauge by Giotto wrist computer
