Looks great

Fits perfectly, look great. Took a bit of careful work to remove original black one. Placed 3 layers of heavy duct type tape below the notch locations and slipped a very thin knife blade to get the original to the position to remove..

Shopper  can you send me a link with instructions for changing the cover? do you recommend changing the original black face plate to the yellow face plate that comes with it ?
darrick c  Hello, you would need to contact the manufacture directly, we do not have any videos on this process.
Shopper  Fluorescent yellow or Just plain yellow? High visibility under water?
MELLISA H  Doesn’t matter, they will both show up well.
JEREMY W  I'd put it in the High Vis category. Not yellow. Very bright yellow/green.

Mr. J  I have both and have been in shipwrecks below 75 ft. in the great lakes. The plain yellow fades a little faster at depth but is still visible even in low light conditions. I prefer the florescent yellow when I dive in low light conditions. Both are I good buy and more a personal preference
ANTHONY G  Just yellow. But still substantially higher visibility then black. If visibility is what you are going for this will improve it for you.

Lisa M  is this cover for the cobalt or cobalt 2 or both?
PATRICK N  My understanding is that the only difference between both computers is the processor chip, which allows the compass to work faster and for more gases to be saved. Therefore, it should work for both. One caution is that this isn’t really a cover it’s a faceplate, so don’t buy the black one if your computer is brand new because all you’ll be doing is removing the black faceplate to put on a new black faceplate.

BARRY T  it will fit on a Cobalt or older Cobalt 2 - Atomic redesigned the Cobalt 2 because of the posibility of water passing thru the o-ring so the new design has two o-rings
ANTHONY G  Works for both. No difference in size between original cobalt and cobalt 2. I have switched them between both as we have an original and two cobalt 2s in our dive family.

Jim C  Watch the video about the Cobalt recall and at the end it shows how to replace the cover. Cover just pops off and the new one clicks on. Had no problems and no leaks.

STEPHEN S  Not difficult to change at all - as long as you follow the instructions carefully. The instructions are quite good. My wife has to have all red dive gear and we wanted to be able to tell the difference between her Cobalt and mint. Worked great and now been used on about a dozen dives.

JOHN S  Not to bad to change just pops on and off you my need to use a small screwdriver to remove the cover on the computer due to it being a bit stiff
WARREN S  I'm the one who asked the question. I returned them because I didn't know how to change them without possibly damaging the computers....
