Questions about this item:

Shopper  will this keep my cell pone and passport dry under water for longer periods ?
CYNDY B  I thought this was perfect for keeping all my stuff dry and handy on a dive boat. I could see everything so I didn't have to root around for it. This is the second one I have had and the second one that the plastic tore near the top. It looks sturdy enough, but I might buy something else next time.
LINDA J  I would say, No.. It's just a fold over dry bag, not a ziplock type..
FAREED H  Yes. Has an overlapping plastic section and the velcro on the inside. Put in your items, close the velcro, and roll it up to keep everything inside dry.
LINDY S  I have not used it as a submersible bag however I have taken it on boats that was both fishing and scuba diving boats, I had several items inside including my wallet and cell phone and everything stayed dried, the outside was pretty wet but everything inside was dry, no water seeped in.
ROBERT M  There are other items that would serve that purpose better. It is not designed for submersion.
MICHELLE W  While it is waterproof, I wouldn't take a chance, but I'm a little chicken that way!
DANIEL S  This bag will keep your valuables dry while mixed in with wet scuba gear or during a heavy rain. It isn't designed to really go under water.
BORIS P  The bag material is waterproof, but it will not prevent water from entering at any significant depth. I would also not recommend it as a solution for keeping your materials dry if you will be intentionally submerging them for a long period of time. A dry box/case would be better for this.
CHERYL L  Did not use the bag under water. Used it for dry storage of items on dive boats only. It works very well for that.
KRISTEN Y  I wouldn't try it. For cell phone (and not for diving, only shallow water use), I'd check out Sealline's ecases.
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
MARTIN C  Price.
FAREED H  Large enough to hold wallet, cell phone, log book, etc. Clear bag so you know what you have and dont have.
