Great accessory to have if you're a photographer or videographer. After the dive just rinse the camera then use the blow gun(attached to the inflator hose) and blow away all the water. Now you have a dry and clean camera. However, the only down side of owning a blow gun is finding a appropriate adapter that will fit your inflator hose. It comes with standard adapter but mine uses a scubapro type connector.

blow off work area.
If you own your own dive gear and cylinders this is a great item to add to your gear bag. Air Blow Gun attaches to your BCD Low Pressure Inflator Hose allowing you to blow dry your regulator cylinder and other items before you stow them for the next dive, or better yet before you put all that wet sandy gear in the trunk of your car for the ride home. Make clean up easier with this handy Blow Gun, can be used with any scuba tank. Air Gun has a lever action trigger. Air Gun is designed for low pressure 200 psi (13.8 bars) or less.

I just got this, is it supposed to have a small leak between the inflator hose and the gun? Or should it be fairly airtight once pressurized?
JIM G
Erik: Not supposed to leak. I use it on the low pressure hose port on a scuba regulator that is designed to attach to a buoyancy compensatory inflator. Regulator allows a max pressure of about 110 p.s.i. on the inflator hose. Maybe your p.s.i. is too high or the quick-disconnect on your hose is bad. Otherwise, the connection fitting on the gun is bad or mismatched with the the quick disconnect on the inflator hose (like one connection is metric and the other is S.A.E.). If you are using the gun at a p.s.i. of over 110, or connecting your inflator hose to the high pressure port of your scuba regulator, you are in grave danger of blowing yourself up.

It should be completely airtight.

It should not leak at all

Mine does not leak.. It may be leaking around the threads. Teflon tape may help...
ROBERT J
It should be airtight. It's possible the nipple could be loose, I would try to snug it up first. If that's not it may need a Teflon wrap at the nipple / gun connection.
ROBERT P
Mine is tight with no leakage. Try some Teton tape on the threads.
Walter N L
No small or big leak anywhere. I have mine and I have used several times without leaks. So, check the hose connector. Good luck.

Thank you

You are welcome, Erik, I hope you can solve the problem soon to enjoy the use of air blow. It is a practical and excellent tool.
STEVE M
It should not leak.

Thanks Steve.

Hello,
I just want to know about this item in the picture if this is really what I get? And with a rubber-tip in it?
Thanks...
ABILIO M
I did not notice it in my gear
ROBERT C
The item I received looks like the one pictured. It had a rubber tip. However, I purchased mine about 3 years ago.

I'm glad you ask because the picture doesn't correspond to the air you will be receiving. But that's not the problem, and that's that if you don't tape it to the hose you will loose it. I lost one, learned my lesson , got another one and problem solved.
Beside that I love it, I used all the time to shut my air bad and do my safety stop.
DIve safely,
Fank
