2 NEW REGULATOR SYSTEMS FOR A NEW DECADE OF DIVING
SCUBAPRO has teamed the new D420 with its premier balanced piston first stage – the MK25 EVO, as well as with its newest balanced diaphragm first stage – the MK19 EVO.
The MK25 EVO, SCUBAPRO’s flagship balanced piston first stage, is equipped with the patented Extended Thermal Insulating System (XTIS) that lets you enjoy an ultra-fast breathing response, instant delivery of air on demand, great sensitivity and extra-high airflow when diving in all water temperatures, including very cold water. In addition to XTIS, the MK25 EVO is built with highly technical internal components designed to further enhance cold water breathing performance. Two opposing high-pressure ports allow the first stage to be positioned either up or down for total mounting convenience, and four high-flow and one axial super high-flow low pressure ports on a swivel turret maximize hose routing options. Teamed with the new D420 with its specially designed diaphragm and super-efficient purge, this regulator system delivers consistent and effortless airflow, regardless of depth, water temperature, tank pressure, or breathing rate.
SCUBAPRO engineers have taken the best features from their MK17 EVO and MK25 EVO first stages, incorporating the latest in innovation, and created the new MK19 EVO. Bringing together these two classic designs, the MK19 EVO takes from the MK17 EVO an environmentally sealed system that prevents water and pollutants from fouling the inner mechanism. Also, a new dry ambient pressure chamber has been adopted that enhances freezing resistance while ensuring consistent airflow and maximum durability in the coldest conditions. Then, from the MK25 EVO it adopts the user-friendly swivel turret with high-flow LP ports that enhance air delivery while maximizing a diver’s options for LP hose routing. The MK19 EVO’s environmentally sealed system, dry ambient pressure chamber and user-friendly LP port swivel turret, plus the D420’s durable casing and versatile left-right LP hose connectivity, make this regulator system uniquely well-suited to handling cold water and the harsh diving conditions often encountered by technical divers.
