If my order isn't what I expected, will there be any difficulty in making a return or exchange?

This is not a problem at all... All unused items may be returned or exchanged within 60 days of purchase. Additional shipping charges will be assessed on all exchange transactions. Any item that has been placed in water or shows wear will be considered used. Please fill out the RMA form that you find enclosed with your order, or you can find it at http://www.scuba.com/rma.asp, and return it with your product so that we may know what you want us to do.

"I have been to Scuba.com multiple times since becoming certified in July with nothing but the best experience in customer service, knowledge and helpfulness. The store is not your average retail experience. Scuba diving is a sport that requires awareness of multiple details that are essential to having a safe and good experience. So with that in mind, all the guys (Aaron, Arthur, Bob, and everyone else I've met) have taken the time to educate me on many aspects of diving. You can either order online or go into the store, go to their computers and order whatever you want to check out and they are brought out to you from their vast warehouse. After checking out the equipment you can ask as many questions as you have from the instructor and with his guidance you can make your purchase and take your gear with you. My most recent experience was a week and a half before Christmas when I ordered a dive computer for a 12/26 trip to the Carribean. It wasn't in stock and was due to come in on 12/19. I called on 12/19 and was told the manufacturer had extended the delivery date until after Christmas, but to check back the next day. In the meantime, I received an email from Scuba.com advising that the manufacturer had now discontinued this item. Eeee gads! I called the shop and spoke to Bob. He said that the owners of the store were offering a different computer to those of us in my situation. This dive computer turned out to be the one I couldn't afford at $697 and my ordered computer was $299. Well, I told Bob I really couldn't make up the difference and he said that the $697 was being offered to me for $399! He said the owners said Merry Christmas! Did Scuba.com have to do this? Did they have control over the manufacturer? Obviously not. So, when I came to pick up my new computer, Aaron put my whole rig together, explained the computer, and said Merry Xmas. I've had such an awesome experience, I will never go anywhere else, thank you guys, you are the BEST!!!"

"If you need any sort of diving/open water equipment this is the place to go. First, do NOT make the original assumption I did, that Scuba.com is only an online website. They in fact have an open facility where if you need your tanks refilled or wish to purchase equipment in person (as long as its available). I bought all the equipment I needed right away and the experience was incredible. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and honest about their personal views on different equipment. I have to say SCUBA.COM offers great service and amazing prices (especially on their weekly specials). I purchased many of their items at the Scuba Show in Long Beach and am not disappointed. I am getting back into SCUBA after a few years away from diving and it’s nice to know they have just about anything I need to keep me diving safely and comfortably. Clark is especially helpful and friendly not to mention very knowledgeable about their product lines. I had to exchange a roller bag recently and they did so without any hassles…it’s most comforting to know that they stand behind their products.

"I am in charge of buying and maintaining equipment for my office.  We tend to be really hard on gear so I'm constantly ordering dive gear for the entire office.  Recently I ordered a pair of gloves for one of my co-workers from another website (I couldn't find the exact gloves he wanted on your site) and needed to exchange them for a smaller size.  It took nearly three weeks and two emails (the one rather pointed) to get a return authorization number so I could send in the gloves for an exchange.  Not only was their customer service representatives indifferent to the time it took to get the RAN to me, they also didn't seem to care when I informed them they'd lost my company's business...forever.

The second person helped me get my Sea Gold defogger in record time ~ so thanks.  By the way, everyone else had just bought the highly inferior Psi500 defogger and they all ended up using my Sea Gold exclusively.  6 people voted that for Caribbean waters, Sea Gold is truly THE BEST.I just sent in my review for the split fins so check it out, although now that I think of it, it might show up as an e-mail response from Marty Daetwyler (my husband) so can you type in my name, it should say Martha Dee.  OK, here’s the good stuff, this is why I wrote to you.  REMEMBER: I truly am 'Chix of the Sea.'Saw a gazillion nurse sharks, 1 baby hammerhead (3’), had 2 reef sharks swim right between Marty and me ~ he “went wide” and I backed towards the shore but here's the best part:  5 minutes into the snorkel, at a VERY remote reef, had to moor the boat, got into the reef and in less than 5 minutes, I looked up from the staghorn coral and here comes a 10' to 11’ Tiger shark.  Even though I was wearing my Chicken of the Sea t-shirt, I actually stayed cool.  I touched my husband’s arm, and cool as a cucumber, said “shark”.  He was looking around at the bo ttom and so again, I said "shark" then he looked up and I pointed slowly straight ahead. He had thought I was talking about a nurse shark.  I learned that sharks can hear your heart beat from watching Discovery’s Shark Week so I really worked on keeping my composure.  I still can’t believe I was that cool, he could have had us in a nano-second.  The shark came up to about 15’ away (which felt like 2’ away) then turned to give us a (beautiful) full side profile, stopped, looked at us and then moved on.  Ended that reef tour for the day.  The bigger sharks are supposed to cruise on the OUTSIDE of the reef, not IN IT ~ and not a 2pm and certainly not a Tiger, and not that big in the reef.   Yikes.  Glad I had my lickety split fins (pun intended) to get back to the boat!!!!!

"I spoke with you recently having no luck getting help on mask selection from local dive shops. You asked me about my body proportions and what types of problems I've had with other masks. You recommended several options. I decided to go with the same mask (Platina) that the instructor I spoke with uses as he indicated his face was fairly narrow as is mine. While using it for the first time in Key Largo, very little water found its way into the mask. The little that did was easily expelled through the purge valve. Great Product.
