Gauges, computers, game bags, dive lights, cameras, slates, you name it a diver wants to secure it to their BCD or weight belt. This need is fulfilled using clips and webbing. The Wrap-Around Webbing Male Quick Release can meet this need. Made from non-corrosive impact resistant plastic and nylon, it can be attached to the female buckle which come standard on most BCD's or looped through webbing on your BCD or weight belt for extended tether or wrapped-around webbing and pulled through loop formed for short tether. It's always good to have some extra clips in your save-a-dive kit.

Is there a code or something that would help determine if this quick release would fit something we already own? We have a bag with quick release straps and would like an extension. The male/female pieces are not standard size, so we are unsure which one to purchase.

Thank you for the info!

I am unsure about a code - but would offer that this is indeed a standard size. I purchased it and it fits into all the other female (standard) small clips I have (e.g for flashlights, and other gear)

Quick releases aren't all the same, however seems like the style used on BCDs and scuba equipment is standard. This fits the quick release on the several different brands and styles of BCDs that I have (DiveRite, Hollis, Cressi, Tusa, and Sherwood) and is the same as the clip on a couple other accessory items that I have.
If your bags quick release is the same as the one on your BCD, it will almost certainly fit. Otherwise, probably not.
