Great Undergarments!

By Greg S.

I never write reviews but had to for this item. These undergarments fit perfectly and are made very well. The collar just pushes down as you stick you head through the neck seal and does not interfere with anything. The suit has a great amount of insulation and helps cushion some of the squeeze when going down. When my wrist seals weep a bit when I'm deploying my SMB the undergarments do not absorb any of the moisture. Hanging it off the side of the boat, the inner sleeves are dry for the nex...

Waterproof's Warm Tec Fiberfill Undergarments are made from 7 oz. (200 g) soft polyester fiber with scald surface. The outer shell is a 100% nylon Taffeta 210T polyurethane silver coated with a weight of 2.5 oz. (70 g). The form fitting legs, waist and vented shoulders provide rapid response air exchange to accommodate the most demanding dry suit dives. Waterproof's compressible fiberfill material also minimizes the space required for transport making this undergarment/surface wear an all-around top performer for discriminating divers.

This undergarment is designed for water temperatures ranging from 45° to 65°F (7° to 18°C). Garments outer shell is durable water and wind resistant. Zippered snug fit" legs prevent air shifts and the elastic waist creates a tight form fit. When on the surface the garment has an integrated hood for cold surface intervals. When you're to worm there are ventilation zippers in the arm pits. All 4-pocket zippers are Teflon coated for smooth operation along with the front entry zipper. Undergarments come with a compression storage bag and are available in multiple sizes.

Questions about this item:

KELLEE B  I am 6'2" and 240lbs do I need to step up to xxxl for the height?
Mario C  it looks like it.... having the remaining measurements will help make a more educated decision... give us a call when you have those at hand... chest, waist, hip etc
SCOTT S  The XXL will probably fit tighter, but these do not have a lot of stretch so the 3xl might be more comfortable.
j j  can this be used on it's own or does it require an outer shell/drysuit? mid atlantic wakeboarding.
SCOTT S  This is only a thermal layer to be used with a waterproof drysuit.
MARC CHRISTIAN G  It does need a drysuit
TRISTAN L  It needs an outer shell. It will keep you some what warm while wet but will not keep water off of you or hold water in either.
JOHN F  i normally dive in waters around 70-74, will this be too warm under a drysuit?
MERLIN C  This is a very well made undergarment. But it will be warm at that temperature range. I only use it when diving in cooler waters. At 80 ft the Quarry I dive at is around 50 and it's great. I will use it ice diving with thermal undies too. At the temperature you are talking I just wear long jons
Angelo F  200g would definitely be to much ... You might Want to consider light weight top and bottoms...
ANATOLIY G  Yes it will be too warm with that water temperature. I use it diving in waters around 55, and it is perfect.
Alexander G  Does it have a hood? If not, which one does? Thanks
JUNE H  Yes, these have a good that is rolled and hidden in the collar.
Steve S  No, this does not have a hood. None of the undergarments have a hood. For a drysuit, you would want to get a dry hood separately.
PATRICK I  No this one has no hood. I am not sure which one does.
TOM D  It doesn't come with a hood. Very warm otherwise.
JASON R  This one doesn't have a hood.
CLAUDIO M  Don't have.
Alexander G  SKU: WPGUWT2LG Waterproof Warmtec 200 g (7 oz) Fiberfill Undergarment Large Features: •Integrated Hood Did you sell me wrong item? Thanks
MANFRED J  Hi, I am looking at purchasing this undergarment. I live in Minnesota and frequently dive lakes that have temperatures in the low 40's. I usually get cold fairly easily too. Is this undergarment suitable for those conditions? Thanks!
JUNE H  Nils, it is a really nice and comfortable undergarment. It will definitely keep you warm in 40F+.
PIOTR J  I am sure you are going to be happy with this product. Last weekend I dove 45 degree water with outside temp in low 20's and windchill in teens, and I was warm in and out of water. At first in seems the suit in very thick, but once you put it on it is very comfortable, and not adding a lot of bouyancy.
PIOTR J  Hello, it's a great product, and I'm sure it will meet your expectations. Last weekend I dove in 45 degree water with outside temp in low 20's and I was warm through out the whole dive and surface interval. It seems the material is very thick, but once you put it on, it is actually very comfortable and not adding a lot of bouyancy.
