Start spearfishing

By Casey B.

It works very well. This is my first gun so I don't have any thing to compare it to. But I have had no problem with this one. Great starter for a great price.

Comanche has been the world champion speargun in 1988, 1992 and 2004, and still today it is a fantastic, reliable and very precise speargun. A favorite among sport fishermen who demand impeccable performance, zero problems and a minimum level of sophistication from their spearguns every time. This proverbially ergonomic and versatile butt is suitable for every type of fishing and shooting from any position. Smooth and fast coupling of the rod and cassette mechanism, tough, reliable and compatible with all types of shafts, tolerant of different heights, finishing and machining. Integrated, discreet and effective automatically retractable double loop line located on the corner between the trigger guard and the base of the barrel.

The handle is in anti-slip thermoplastic silver-gray rubber, so it is discreet yet visible on the seafloor. Special handle angle to increase the shot's precision. Load assist, bayonet reel-anchoring system, 4 different line hooks. New 28mm (1.1") diameter barrel with an integrated guide in anticorodal aluminum with very rigid circular section, that offers a good compromise between structural resilience, low production costs and ease of movement in every direction underwater. It is a very manageable, agile and multipurpose speargun. New compact, hydrodynamic and minimized closed muzzle. The hook for the bands is aligned with the barrel so that the traction is perfectly aligned. The visibility offered by the muzzle is excellent and aiming is precise, fast and intuitive. Integrated metal fairlead for a dual pass.

High-quality parallel elastic band in pure black latex, 16mm (5/8") in diameter and articulated wishbone. The band can be substituted by a stronger S45, 18mm (0.70") in diameter, or the larger versions, like the G20, 20mm (0.78") in diameter. French articulated wishbone. This is the best, safest and easiest hook wishbone due to its angular design and profile of the plate. High-quality caps in Delrin with threads designed so that threading and unthreading the bands can be done easily by hand, no tools needed. The Comanche Rail comes with a heat treated 6.0mm (0.23") spring stainless steel tempered 17-4 PH notched shaft, rigged to the gun with a 1.4mm (0.55") braided multifilament line rated to 80 kg (176 lbs.). Stainless steel shaft comes with lock washer and lock nut and is equipped with a single flopper pointed tip.

The Comanche Rail Speargun is available in multiple lengths depending on your hunting needs. The 60cm (23.6") model has an overall length of 102cm (40.1") with a shooting range of 4.3m (14.1'). The 75cm (29.5") model has an overall length of 127cm (50.0") with a shooting range of 5.3m (17.4'). The 90cm (35.4") model has an overall length of 142cm (55.9") with a shooting range of 5.9m (19.4'). The 100cm (39.3") model has an overall length of 152cm (59.8") with a shooting range of 6.3m (20.7'). The 110cm (43.3") model has an overall length of162cm (63.7") with a shooting range of 6.7m (22.0'). The Comanche Rail Speargun is made in Italy and comes with an owner's manual.

Questions about this item:

Ronnie B  Can this shipping to Marshall Island if I purchase this?
darrick c  Hello Ronnie, yes, we ship to the Marshall island.
Shopper  can u buy a spear gun that u do not have to manually pull back to load?
darrick c  Hello, you have Pneumatic spearguns, you still need to load the shaft into the speargun.
Doug D  what does it come with? spear line etc
Mario C  gun, Tahitian shaft, mono line ( no bungee)
chris r  im looking to add a second band for more power (ive got the cressi comanche 75). what band size do/should I buy?
Mario C  we only carry the primary band for it. We do not have the info on what would be an appropriate second band for it. Better contact the manufacturer for a more educated recommendation. https://www.cressi.com/800-338-9143
Shopper  Im looking for a gin can allows me to use In Illinois waters up to 15ft... Any recommendation?
Mario C  Thank you for your question and answer. Mike is right i would also add along with visibility, range is a factor ( also affected by visibility conditions) the longer the gun the more range it has the less maneuverable it is.
Mike T  Hi There, it really depends on water visibility but a 60 or 75cm will do the trick.
