good knife in the blunt configuration

By JEFFREY L.

This knife has a good lock feature, but still very easy to get out for use. The straps to secure it to your leg are the best I have used. It is a replacement for my original knife (1987). If I do not do something stupid it should be good for ever.

XS Scuba Stryker Knife:

By timothyb

We purchased two simular dive knives to use when we dive. We have not had a chance to use the knives yetdue to being to busy to dive. The look of the knives are exactly what wewantes. I purchased the knife wrap with mine and i like the feel of the wrap

The Stryker Knife by XS Scuba is made from chromate treated 420 stainless-steel, for exceptional rust protection. The 4.75" (12.1cm) blade with blue and black handle looks great. The knife overall length is 10.75" (27.3cm). Blade has serrated edge on one side with a straight edge design on the other, is equipped with a line cutter and comes with a choice of a drop point or blunt tip. The blunt tip version can also double as a flat blade screwdriver if needed. Knife comes equipped with an easy-release positive locking sheath and depth compensating rubber leg straps with squeeze style quick-release buckles for easy donning and doffing.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Dan S  The knife pictured shows a red inlay on the handle. But in description it states it comes in a black and grey handle. Where is the option to get the one with a red handle ?
Mario C  Hi Dan, Thank you for the good question. We do have the wrong color picture and description at the moment. The inlay is actually blue. we will correct our page. In the mean time you can see the blue ( only color available) on the link below https://www.xsscuba.com/knives/stryker-knife
Wayne S  What are practical differences between a point and blunt tip knife?
DAVID R  The blunt tip is useful as a tool to pry and good for cutting fishing line or kelp. Some people might like a pointed tip for piercing something if needed or a fisherman for skinning fish.
Shopper  Can you easly attach this to a BCD or is it intended to be strapped to a leg?
Monica s  It is a full size knife so it is meant to be mounted to your leg.
Shopper  Does the Xs Xcuba Stryker Knife come with a sleeve?
LeisurePro S  Yes, knife cover is included.
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
WARREN G  I lost one similar to this and HOPE the release button works with my cold water, gorpy 5mm gloves.....
JAYME M  I looked at the price and figured i'd take a chance. Great buy. Four days of constant diving and very little rinsing off with fresh water. The Blade held up and was very resistant to the salt water. kinda hard to take apart to clean but worth your hard earned money.
