Shafts are available in multiple lengths to fit the size Cyrano you are using. Be sure to have a spare shaft on hand for your Cyrano Speargun so you will always be ready to fish. JEFFREY H  According to the Mnfr, it is (plated) steel, i would say stainless as i have had some of them over 5 years and they have not rusted. Be advised, the shaft itself is fairly bendable, when i first got the gun i shot a spear into a tree (just to test) and pulled it out, it was slightly bent.....Hope this helps you !!!

LeisurePro S  This takes a 7mm tip, and you can use the JBL 7-MM Female to 6-MM Male Stainless Steel Spearpoint Adapter (818) to attach any JBL tip to this shaft
