Great mask for the money.

This mask is great. I bought it for a friend, and on a trip I noticed it was identical to my Scuba Max Malin MK-128. The masks were the same mold, with the only difference being which brand was written on the top rim. I feel like a sucker for paying much more for the scuba max. At any rate, the mask is great. I love using mine (which is the same). Easy to clear, and seals well.

LIKE ALL MOST MASKS THAT SAY FOG FREE THE'S DAYS YOU STILL HAVE TO CLEAN THEM UP . If you like a mask that provides great downward vision, wide angle of view, in a low volume twin lens design well here it is! The Blue Reef Fisheye Mask is just that, but don't stop there! This mask has all the other features of a quality dive mask with a touch of style. The mask skirt is manufactured from black silicone rubber with a double featured edge for a superior comfort and fit. A wide split style silicone strap design holds the mask firmly in place and strap buckles with push button tabs allow strap adjustments to be quick-and-easy. The feathered skirt and wide split strap combine for a perfect fit and seal to the face.

Dual tempered glass, reversed teardrop lenses that incorporate anti-fog technology, make seeing the environment and your instruments fantastic. That's right, no need for anti-fog drops or saliva, just put it on and dive. Mask has an easy-to-reach one handed nose pocket for ear equalization which can be utilized even when wearing thick gloves. LING W  Do I still have to prep the lens with toothpaste or is it fog free right out the bag?
BILL T  Did not try it out of the box. Toothpaste works for me.
VINCENT C  You will need to treat the lenses. You may have better luck burning the lens with a lighter rather than toothpaste, but not everyone is comfortable with that. It's really simple and you can find videos online.
LING W  Wouldn't I burn or scrape off the anti-fog coating if I did that?
JEFF C  You definitely have to treat it with toothpaste. I’ve been diving for over 45 years and there hasn’t been a mask that DOESN’T work well without treating.
LING W  Will it not somehow remove the anti-fog coating?
JEFF C  There really is no real “anti-fog coating!” Just treat it with toothpaste - it takes a few minutes in the shower! And just use some defog(Baby Shampoo) before you enter the water.
LING W  Ouch, it kind of negates the reason that I got this over another mask. Maybe I will not clean the bottom of the lens with toothpaste and for the first dive, not use defog on one part of one lens.
JEFF C  Do what you want man? We’re talking about a $25 mask. We use a bunch of them as rental masks for our Scuba Diving Company and every mask we’ve ever bought needs to be treated. Even my $200 mask! Like I said - there really isn’t an “anti-fog” mask out there! Buy a mask for the comfort, fit, volume and visibility. Can I ask you how long you’ve been scuba diving, where you do most of your dives and how often you’re in the ocean?
LING W  I did buy this mask because it is the right fit, thought anti-fog would alleviate the few times lens gets fogged up for some unknown reason. I have hundreds of dives in all parts of the world.
AUSTIN S  It has residue. Use toothpaste, or better, use a lighter for a few seconds on the inside and outside of each lens.
