Sure glad that I had a back up sling. My old one broke at the end of the dive. Put the new JBL sling on and was back in business the next day. Thank you LeisurePro and JBL.

did not match my jbl pole spear. but was able to rig it to work all that is needed for lubricant when trying to the silicone is some spit.

JBL's unique latex formulation and dip manufacturing process delivers radical modulus strength. The power curve increases as bands are stretched for optimum performance. Special anti-oxidants help protect against harmful U.V. rays, prolonging sling life. The sling for Breakdown Pole Spears (JBL2D72 and JBL2D80) has a non-corrosive plastic threaded screw retainer to fasten sling to pole. Sling measures 3/8" x 32" (9.5mm x 813mm). Sling makes a great save-a-dive-kit Item.

I do not think these bands are adjustable. You should check with JBL technical support before trying to adjust this sling.

The shaft is aluminum and the rubber sling assembly threaded male connector is plastic.This sling is perfect for lion fish and triggers.Just clean it after every use.

it is made of aluminum. I suggest you keep your old one as well for parts. you can actually buy bulk rubber and make another loop (it is a pain though)

No, my original on that came with the aluminum pole was also a hard plastic. The replacement was identical.
