I haven't used this yet, but I purchased it to afford me a bit more warmth. It's a very nice product. My trip was cancelled due to Covid, so I hope to inaugurate it in 2022.

A very easy jumpsuit that can be worn alone or as an additional layer with your wetsuit
The sheer versatility of Henderson Polyolefin Jumpsuit with Spine Pad has made it a staple for all types of ocean lovers, especially divers and snorkelers. Made from robust polyolefin, it helps shield the skin from abrasion, UV rays and biological irritants. Durable over-lock and flat-lock stitching is used on the full-body jumpsuits. What is the difference between this
Polyolefin material and the material from the standar/classic ones (Spandex)?
Mario C
The Polyolefin suits have a liner built in, therefore are much warmer than a standard lycra,
ALEXANDRA M
I'm not an expert, but this dive skin is much thicker than the regular spandex, thus offering a measure of some warmth.
Kendall G
How thick is the material? I'm wondering if I can wear it under my newly bought 3mm Thermoprene Pro suit that fits me just right. I would love some added warmth without increasing buoyancy. Thermoprene Pro boasts 250% stretch so I'm thinking this would work well. Do you agree?
Mario C
oops my bad. Just brought one to my desk to double check. and let me re answer your question. It is as thick as i mentioned before, and as an under layer may increase the warmth rating of the 3mm yes without adding buoyancy. I say may as i have not tried it myself.. but the manufacturer does claim it will. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Kendall G
I appreciate your thoughts but it's a bit confusing that the description does say that it adds warmth. I'm considering replacing my 1.5mm neoprene jumpsuit I use in warmer waters with this and then using it in cooler water under my 3mm wetsuit in say 73* water this March in the Florida Keys. I could just use my 5mm neoprene suit but I don't like the idea of having to dive with so much lead weight to get down.
Mario C
i believe this would fit as it is slightly thicker than lycra but not much. What it wont do is increase warmth,,, this is uv and environmental protection suit not for warmth,,, it may increase a little... but not made for that...

I wear a 10 in the Neosport wetsuit. What size for Henderson Polyolefin jumbsuit?
KIM S
I wore a small and usually wear a 10. I was surprised and thought a bigger size would be better. But bigger was bit baggy and long. Good luck. Maybe get both return one?
SUSAN A
I wear a size 12, and a medium fits perfectly. That's all I can advise. But I think you will love this suit...the French terry is so comfortable, no more neoprene against skin.

I am a 5’11 and 150lbs. What size would I wear?
DONALD P
I cannot recommend this product in any size. The quality is very poor and the seams come apart quickly. From my experience Henderson would not warranty this suit even though it had been used only once. Not Recommended.

I'm 5'11'' and 195 wear x-large. Maybe that helps.
Tom D
im 5'10' 165 lbs and have size medium
CARRIE L
Personally I dont like anything super tight - I recommend xl. The suit streaches a wee bit that should give you ample room to get it on and off. I have three of these suits —- love love love them!!! Long lasting too - Im on my third year of use!!
lawrence s
its a size too small and keeps on shrinking as it ages. I usually take a large but its more like a medium---very tight.
William L
I am 5ft 8in, 240 lbs, 46" chest, and 42" waste, what size would I need to order in this skin?
HB R
I'm 5ft 11, 42inch waist, 215 and XL fits perfect. Recommend you start there.
CARRIE L
I would say XL if you prefer things tight xxl if you prefer things looser. When they streach a lot the seams begin to show a lot of wear.
lawrence s
bought a large which I normally wear but its a size too small.
DONALD P
I would not recommend this suit. The seams are of very poor quality and immediately begin separating. I would suggest you consider a 2mm neoprene suit instead. Henderson does not stand behind this product.
