Built with NXT technology and made from Trivex material, the PhD 2.0 lens is extremely light and thin, 75% lighter than glass, ultra-flexible, while being highly impact and temperature resistant.

In fact, to begin with, Trivex material was used by the US military for fighter jet canopies and helicopter windshields. It has required 12 years of development: 10 within the military and 2 years for adaptation to the optical sunglass lens market.

This lens also offers a high optical clarity and avoids any distortion.

The PhD 2.0 features hydro- and oleophobic front-side coatings, which help repel water, fingerprints and debris. The highly durable backside anti-fog treatment enables perfect vision and performance whatever the activity.

As the pioneer of Photochromic technology, Serengeti leads the industry in creating lenses that adapt to any light condition in any setting. Serengeti Photochromic lenses are activated by the amount of UV radiation in the atmosphere and engineered to transition from light to dark, gradually.

In bright conditions, UV radiation is more intense. The lens molecules expand in size, darkening the lenses. Less light can then pass through. In darker conditions, UV radiation is less intense. The molecules shrink and separate, lightening the lenses. More light can pass through.

Your eyes are always protected and receive the optimal amount of light needed at any times and in all weather conditions. You are able to discern shapes and colors more quickly while eliminating eyestrain.

Blue light is necessary to regulate biological clock. However, it is also a high-risk factor for age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

Spectral Control Technology filters up to 96% of blue light, allowing only the beneficial and regulating turquoise blue light to pass through, to reduce blue blur and visible noise. This protects your eyes from aging and damage to preserve your sight perfectly.

It enhances a natural color balance and improves contrasts and perception by acting like a "HD" visual equalizer to achieve the perfect mix of colors across all conditions. It selectively manages light wavelengths, distinguishing reds, greens, and yellows.

Absorbs 77% to 91% of the visible light, according to the lens. Blocks 89% to 96% of the blue light, according to the lens.

Launched in 1985, this ideal driving sunglass is the original and emblematic lens of Serengeti. The amber-colored Drivers lens naturally amplifies contrast and definition. It is engineered to transmit and distinguish red, green and yellow colors, so they can pop in all environments. This lens provides technicolor sensations of warmth and is ideal for driving because it enhances colors and contrast, while lightening and darkening to provide optimal light transmission in any condition.

SEDONA Bi-Mirror

Very bright light conditions. Ideal for Boating and Mountain activities. Available in polarized ultra-light mineral lenses.

Absorbs 84% to 90% of the visible light. Blocks 91% to 94% of the blue light.
