Highly accurate and reliable

By Jack K.

 -  Englewood , CO, US

I would recommend this particular analyzer as I have used this brand successfully for more than nineteen years. Further the customer service and support have been excellent. The device is accurate and very rugged and stands up well to the tough conditions of daily diving in less than ideal circumstances.

the name says it all

analox. the name says it all. unless you're doing trimix that's all you need.

An updated version of the O2EII, the O2EII Pro is the ideal portable nitrox analyzer, which can easily be taken on all of your diving adventures. The addition of the hose barb now allows the unit to be used while checking air quality at the tank or while the user is connected to their first stage regulator (via their BCD's low-pressure inflator). Note: To check via BCD low pressure inflator you need to purchase SKU: AQUNAC. To correctly plan for nitrox diving, all nitrox divers need to know the gas mix in their tanks. Analox Sensor Technology offers a range of nitrox analyzers (also known as oxygen analyzers) as well as spares and accessories to assist any scuba divers looking to start nitrox diving. Quick and easy to use, the O2EII Pro is splash proof, drop proof and is easy to transport when going on your annual dive holiday. The O2EII Pro is robust and ergonomically designed to ensure a comfortable grip. The O2EII Pro is small, portable and battery operated, meaning it can be taken anywhere.

As a diver, confidence in your mix means you can relax and enjoy your dive. Now you can check your tanks on the boat, making sure the tank you filled is the tank they hook up! The new Analox O2EII Pro is designed to be a major step forward in diver safety. Building on the success of the O2EII, the O2EII Pro retains the same qualities but with many additional features. There are many O2 analyzers on the market, many of which will give you an accurate read on your Nitrox... what sets the O2EII Pro apart is its absolute superior construction and design: drop it, kick it, bang it around, fish it out of the water, it will still give you the most accurate O2 read, be the most comfortable in your hand, and last far longer than any of its competitors. Analox value is in their quality.

The O2EII Pro oxygen analyzer is designed to measure oxygen levels in the range 0.1 to 100% O2 for tank oxygen level verification. The O2EII Pro is ergonomically designed and equipped with several features to ensure ease of use and reliability. The instrument has been designed to be held in the left hand to enable ease of use when checking your tank. It is fitted with a large digital display and operates from an internal temperature compensated electrochemical oxygen sensor. Power is provided by a 9V battery which will last for approximately 1 year before replacement is necessary. The O2EII Pro will automatically switch off after 10 minutes to ensure battery life is not compromised if the instrument is accidentally turned on.

The O2EII Pro is water and drop resistant. Designed specifically for the diving industry whether you may be a sport Nitrox, commercial or military diver - where hostile environmental conditions are the norm not the exception. The O2EII Pro is supplied ready to use, all you need to do is push in the EII adapter. The analyzer has an on button that also acts as a hold button to freeze the reading on the digital display. The O2EII has a typical accuracy +/- 1% of reading +/- 0.2% of O2, an operating temperature of 23 Degree F to 122 Degree F (-5 Degree C to +50 Degree C), a sensor response of 15 seconds to 90% of final reading, a resolution of 0.1% O2 and provides a 4-digit LCD display reading. Included with the analyzer are a sensor saver cap protective case and owner's manual. The case included is a watertight, crush proof and has an automatic pressure purge valve. The PL1050 Micro case has a speed lock and liner. It includes a carabiner clip and a lanyard for easy attachment. The Micro Case has an IP67 Rating that protected from dust and against the effects of immersion in water to depth between 6" and 39.4" (15cm and 1m). The case is made from durable polycarbonate with a soft liner, measures externally (L x W x D) 7.5 x 5.06 x 3.12" (19 x 12.8 x 7.9cm), internal dimensions of 6.31 x 3.68 x 2.75" (16 x 9.3 x 7.0cm) with a volume of 63.86 cu in (1L) and can float in salt water with 27.84 oz (789.25g) of content weight.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  With regards to this kit and what is pictured; does the storage box pictured included in the purchase of the kit?
JOHN B  There are two different kits, one with box and one without box. I purchased the kit with the box to protect my purchase from water and potential damage. Ask to speak with Mario at LP and he can help you like he did me. I hope this answers your question.
MEL P  Yes, the kit includes the storage box, but it's not high quality and there's no liner or pad to protect the analyzer. You can buy a similar "waterproof" box at Wal-Mart for about $5-$7.
STEPHEN G  Is the Analox Sensor Saver Cap included in this kit?
Mario C  no it is not
STEPHEN G  Is the Analox BCD Flow Restrictor included in this kit? It's pictured, but not mentioned in the product description.
Mario C  yes it is. look at the whats is in the box box : )
STEPHEN G  Pelican case is included. Correct?
JOHN B  If you purchase the package with the case. Ask Mario C at LP to help you. He's a great resource.
Jack K  Yes, the Pelican case is included and the analyzer fits tightly in it.
KEN M  Yes clear case is included.
THOMAS G  A small Pelican case came with the kit I ordered.
BLAKE W  If you get the kit, the case is included but you will need to buy foam to keep it from moving around.
Bart P  Does the Pelican case have a styrofoam insert to keep the Analyzer secure in the case?
Jack K  Yes, the Pelican case has a foam rubber insert that matches the case color (blue) and makes the analyzer fit tightly.
THOMAS G  No - the case doesn't have anything to stabilize the analyzer. You can put some newspaper or tissue paper in around the device to secure it if you feel the need. I don't do that because it fits pretty snug and the blue bottom of the case is soft plastic.
STEVEN W  No , but you can search the web for an fitted insert. With the BCD tube and fitting, and the Analyzer in zip lock bags the inner rubber liner keeps both from moving around, even in my dive bag.
