About Cressi Essence Package, Quartz BCD, MC9 Reg, Octopus, Console, Gorgona Bag

The Cressi Quartz BCD: Full jacket style vest developed for scuba diving schools & equipment for rental centers. Made from 500 Cordura Denier ideal for intense use & resist abrasions & cuts. It features the Integrated Flat-Lock Weight System. It features a red-colored reinforcement band in upper part of the back, at neck level, to enhance visibility in water & protect the jacket from abrasive action of the 1st stage regulator. On the right shoulder, a size indicator w/big letter, helps rental centers to get correct size when needed.

The sternum strap buckle, also serves as a safety whistle. Big 2" (50mm) quick-release buckles on shoulder straps & chest strap. Zip-up side pockets complete w/1" (25mm) techno-polymer D-rings for attaching accessories. Light-weight, rigid backplate w/carry handle. The harness system uses squeeze-style side-release buckles & adjustable straps on shoulders, chest & waist for precise adjustment & fit. A hook & loop fastener adjustable waist cummerbund provide extra security & comfort. Flat-Lock Weight System holds up to 20 lbs. (9 kg), w/10 lbs. (4.5 kg) in each pocket.

BCD is equipped w/Cressi's Commando Power Inflator w/cable activated pull dump valve & 3/8" threaded quick disconnect hose. Shoulder overpressure relief valve w/pull cord provides trimming of buoyancy. The inflator mechanism is environmentally sealed for greater reliability & less maintenance. The BCD provides from 27 lbs. to 49.5 lbs. (12.25 kg to 22.5 kg) lift (size dependent). Dry weight is from 5.3 lbs. to 6.2 lbs. (2.4 kg to 2.8 kg). Available in multiple sizes & comes w/owner's manual.

The MC9 hyper-balanced diaphragm actuated 1st stage regulator has a lightweight body covered by protective techno-polymer elastomer shell. The regulator has 4-low pressure & t2-high pressure ports. Internally the 1st stage is coated w/an anti-friction anti-corrosion material that reduces resistance & allows components to move freely. This makes the 1st stage perform & last longer & increases performance.

The chrome plated marine brass 1st stage is a balanced diaphragm design which is environmentally sealed. The diaphragm membrane transmits the pressure changes to the internal mechanism eliminating the need for surrounding water to enter the intricate mechanism. The Compact 2nd-stage housing is made of durable non-corrosive hi-tech polymers & has a downstream demand valve mechanism. The flow of air is channeled to the mouthpiece by injection, creating a venturi effect enhancing the performance. The 2nd stage comes w/a flow deviator that acts on the Venturi effect, w/dive/pre-dive adjustment function. Large soft purge cover allows easy clearing of 2nd stage & a comfortable silicone mouthpiece. The Compact MC9 Regulator weighs 30.97 oz. (878 g) w/hose. The Compact MC9 Regulator comes w/an owner's manual, is certified to EN250/2000 standards & is made in Italy.

The XS Compact 2'nd Stage Octopus has all the same features as the primary 2nd stage. The XS Compact Octopus weighs 4.76 oz. (135 g) w/o hose, comes w/a long 39" (100cm) 3/8" hose & owner's manual. Octopus is compliance with EN 250:2014 standard.

The Cressi Leonardo Computer Console: Simple & functional design. Single button interface makes it effortless to program air, nitrox & gauge modes. Leonardo has large high definition LCD screen that gives numerical displays in a computer that is compact & travel friendly. Computers battery life icon indicator & distinct audible alarms deliver critical information as well as peace of mind during the dive.

The Leonardo features Cressi RGBM algorithm, created in conjunction w/expertise of Bruce Wienke & based on the Haldane model, integrated w/RGBM factors. Algorithm allows for safe decompression calculations for multiple dives spread out over multiple days. The computer is a multifunctional instrument for sport diving. It will supply any wanted information on depth, dive times, decompression status, ascent rate & surface interval times between dives. Nitrogen absorption/release is continuously processed by its software, considering the quantity of inert gases in different mixtures which can be used. Information is displayed on instrument's large display, thanks to the Priority Compartment Digit Display system, allowing an easy & direct dialogue between diver & the computer. The computer has a clock & calendar, dive memory (logbook), & dive simulator. The mathematical model of Leonardo can make saturation & de-saturation computations of dives carried out both w/air & nitrox, whose parameters can all be set: from the maximum allowed PO2 value between 17.4 and 23.2 psi (1.2 bar and 1.6 bar), to the mixture's oxygen percentage (FO2) between 21% and 50% of O2. Instrument may be set by user for either imperial (feet) or metric (meters) system. The Leonardo can also be fully re-set after each use, making it an excellent choice for rentals.

Computer has an operational depth of 0' to 393' (0 to 120m), is powered by a user replaceable CR2430 3-volt battery & is equipped w/a 60 dive (70 hour), logbook memory function. The clock function can be set in 12/24-hour formats. The computer is altitude adjustable up to 12,139' (3,700m) & has a back-light feature for low light conditions. Computer comes w/an owner's manual.

The console is equipped w/a submersible pressure gauge (SPG). The gauge has a luminescent dial that has readout from 0 to 5,000 psi. The SPG's face is divided into 3-different Colored Zones: Area from 600 psi & below is highlighted in red w/a solid bar & red stripes. For deeper dives, the red scale extends & fades to 1,300 psi, providing additional reserve air indication required at greater depths. From 600 to approximately 3,000 psi is green & from 3,000 psi to end of scale is blue. The front glass lens is acts as a pressure relief valve. In the event of a sudden increase in pressure inside the instrument, the glass rises slightly, allowing the excess pressure to escape. The instrument is housed in a small, modern shaped console boot, made from Polycarbonate & Desmopan, (thermoplastic polyurethane) 2-materials that guarantee protection from shocks, scratches & which, at the same time, is very light. Pressure gauge comes w/a 7/16" high-pressure hose. The entire console is encapsulated in a durable impact resistant console boot w/multiple attachment points for clips or lanyards.

The Cressi Gorgona Mesh Bag is great for hauling virtually any dive equipment. The duffel-style mesh bag is made of durable 70% polyester mesh & 30% 600-D polyester PUX2 material that lets water drain easily. For complete description of gear bag see feature or SKU: CSBBGM.
