2nd One from Leisure Pro

By Papa

I bought my first one last year. It is a great dive computer. I bought the 2nd one cause I have 2 sets of Regs.

Awesome Computer!

By sparky

Did my first open water dives with this computer and it worked great. I've found it difficult to figure out because the instructions seem to be written for someone who has owned a computer or knows the basics. But most of the functions are done once it hits the water all by itself so no complaints, awesome computer in the end!!

The SCA-362 three-gauge Element II console features the IQ-750 Element II dive computer a 5000 PSI pressure gauge and back mount compass in a compact low-profile two color boot. The computer console is a full-featured, user-friendly instrument with an innovative interface designed exclusively for divers. The Element II is an easy-to-use, 3-button, puck-style computer offering a myriad of dive data details plus additional features including a deep stop function.

The Element II can be operated as an air computer, nitrox (EANx) computer, digital depth gauge/timer or as a free dive depth gauge/timer. The IQ-750 offers several desirable features including: Water-activation, 2 mix gas switching ability, a large alphanumeric and backlit display, audible and visual alarms, advanced user safety settings, and PC download/upload. Computer is powered by a user replaceable CR2450 lithium battery. TUSA Algorithm is based on Buhlmann ZHL-16c Pelagic Z+ model a modified Haldanean 12 compartment algorithm. Computer features include a maximum depth display of 399' (120 meters), imperial or metric units, temperature, 12/24 hour format, pre-dive plan mode from 30'-190' (9-57 meters), time to fly and de-saturation countdowns, 24 dive log memory function and more.

The TUSA Element II dive computer features a deep stop function for additional safety. The deep stop mode is activated when a dive exceeds 80' (24 meters) for more than 1 second. Upon ascent past 50' (15 meters), the computer will display a deep safety stop screen and the recommended stop at 40' (12 meters) for a period of 2 minutes. This deep stop is highly recommended as additional opportunity to off-gas, but is not mandatory. If the diver chooses not to serve the stop it will not adversely affect the remaining no-decompression limits of the dive.

2 Gas Mix: This feature allows the diver to preset two Nitrox gas mixtures (Mix 1 and Mix 2) for easy switching during the dive as necessary. Mix 1: 21 to 50%, Mix 2: 21 to 99%.The altitude smart mode allows the computer to automatically adjust for altitude diving. Computer will adjust altitude from 0' to 14.000' (0 to 4,270 meters). TUSA's computers feature audible and visual alarms for the most important dive data warnings. Ascent rate, maximum depth, no decompression limits, safety stop and several other key data can be set to alert the diver. Computer feature a backlit display for night diving or low-light situations. The bright backlight is activated by a touch of a button and the duration can be set for up to 10 seconds in length enabling the diver to view critical dive data easily and quickly. TUSA's PCLogbook and TUSA DataLog PC interfaces allow the diver to transfer complete log and profile history from the dive computer to a personal computer or upload user settings to the computer. A PC interface unit is sold separately. Computer comes with a spare battery and owner's manual.

The TUSA's Pressure Gauge is a rugged easy to read gauge that has color coded pressure readout for added safety. The gauge measures pressure from 0 to 5,000 psi. The 0 to 500 psi section is colored in bright red to denote reserve air, the 1,000 to 5,000 psi section is color coded in blue. Pressure gauge is also equipped with a thermometer measuring temperature from 0°F to 100°F. TUSA is the first company in the world to incorporate Lumi-Nova light storage dials, a groundbreaking innovation offering several times the brightness of conventional dials, as well as longer luminescence times. The entire face glows bright enough to make it ideal for night diving or diving in dark areas but contains no radioactive materials. Gauge case is made from tough glass-filled Noryl, with the lens manufactured from durable Lexan. The gauge mechanism is a shock resistant bourdon tube.

Many divers take compasses for granted, considering them just an accessory to an overall dive gauge console system. Trying to navigate with a poorly designed or improperly functioning compass can be one of diving's more frustrating events. The back mount Compass is liquid filled for a smooth, fast reacting compass heading. Compass is equipped with both top and side scan reading for gun sight accuracy. The ratcheted rotating bezel has compass headings in 30° degrees numbered increments and indicator marks for every 10° degrees. Bezel has twin heading indicators for alignment of compass course, and a lubber line across the compass face. The computer, pressure gauge and compass are incased in an impact resistant boot with an eyelet for attachment of a lanyard or clip. HP hose is 7/16" threaded.
