Roll away to a great time.

By Harold S.

 -  Birchrunville, PA, US

Have not yet used this bag, that is scheduled for later this week when I leave for Grand Cayman. I have the previous version of this bag to my son for his new gear and it has served me well and I expect this one will do the same. Also this bag is lighter than the previous version and yet has more padding.

TUSA Roller Gear Bag!

By Nick R.

 -  Albuquerque, NM, US

I love this gear bag. Looks awesome, holds all my gear, and seems well built. Hoping for a long life and lots of adventures with this bag!

TUSA's Roller Bags make an excellent travel companion. These sleek black bags are perfect for carrying your equipment to that dream dive destination you've been waiting for! The bags have one large and one small outer front dual slider zippered compartments for items you need to keep handy when on the fly. The large dual slider zippered main compartment with its 2 internal zippered pockets will keep you organized throughout your adventure. The bags are built to last, made from a strong and durable nylon fabric. The 4-external compression straps equipped with squeeze-style side release buckles help keep gear from shifting when you travel. When you take your next trip, these bags allow you to maneuver through busy airport, train or bus terminals with their heavy duty reinforced telescopic pull handles and smooth gliding wheels. When comes to checking your bag in or lifting it onto the boat at your destination, you will love the top and side padded grab handles that make lifting the bag a breeze.

There are three size roller bags to choose from depending on your equipment needs. The large capacity bag (BA0202) model with a volume of 6,590.6 cubic inch (108 liter) holds all your gear and then some. The BA0202 large bag measures (L x W x H)11.8" x 19" x 29.5" (30cm x 48cm x 75cm) and weighs 9.9 lbs. (4.5 kg) when empty. The medium capacity bag (BA0203) model with a volume of 4,943 cubic inches (81 liters) has a generous size and allows for a full set of dive gear. The BA0203 medium bag measures (L x W x H) 11" x 17" x 26.4" (28cm x 43cm x 67cm) and weighs 8.8 lbs. (4 kg) when empty. The small capacity bag (BA0204) model is the perfect compact traveler. With the ability to pack a set of travel dive gear your dive destinations are limitless. The (BA0204) small bag has a volume of 2,868 cubic inches (47 liters). The (BA0204) small bag measures (L x W x H) 9" x 14.6" x 21.7" (23cm x 37cm x 55cm) and weighs 7.2 lbs. (3.27 kg) when empty. The (BA0204) small bag is the perfect carry-on bag. Whichever one you choose your equipment transport needs will be a breeze on that next dive adventure.

Q&A

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

HAROLD S  When empty, will this bag collapse down to fit under a low bed, or are the sides rigid and not allow for some collapsing? Application would be a liveaboard where space is a premium.
QUINLIN C  it can collapse only 3-4 iinches, and then has rigid sides.
JOHN L  The sides are rigid and do not allow for collapsing. It's a great gear bag though.
KEITH D  The sides are rigid and about 6 inches tall
NICK R  For the most part, it does collapse. Except for the base by the wheels. That side is rigid. Hope this helps.
DAVID D  I haven't used it for that application, but the sides are soft enough to be collapsible. I absolutely love this bag. I use it as a carry on because I do not trust placing my gear in general baggage for fear I will never see it again. This bag holds my Tusa Conquest BCD (size M), 2 masks, snorkel, my regulator rig including octo, first stage and computer, my 3 mm full suit, my booties, and my dive light. Only my fins do not fit.
LEWIS D  I have the large and a medium size TUS a roller bags both of them are absolutely splendid I wouldn’t travel with anything but these and I do a lot of international travel but no they do not collapse enough probably to go under a bed maybe down to eight or 9 inches maybe anyway I hope that helps myself if you don’t have a good scuba travel bag this would be a good bag to buy anyway Enter an answer to this question.
Harold S  It might but I wouldn’t buy this one as it fell apart in three trips.
Steven R  Does the small work as a carry-on?
Mario C  Thank you for your question: The limit size for carry on 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches limits on most national carriers. This suitcase in small is 9" x 14.6" x 21.7".
MARZENA T  We bought a medium size but we saw the small one in the store. The small one can easily be used as a carry on.
KIRK W  Will a pair of bungee-style fins with a travel length of 26" fit inside the size medium bag? Thanks.
QUINLIN C  I think they may fit diagonally... but maybe a bit long if you pack them straight.
KEITH D  Yes I have full size over the boot and snorkel fins that fit in the top zip pocket
LEWIS D  I would believe they would fit in the bag. I put a bcd, wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and Hot Shot fins in my bag and still have room to pack clothes and other items. The outside front has a compartment for fins and I store mine there if yours are longer you may need to store them in main compartment.
LEN G  I have a size medium aqualung slingshot fins that fit nicely in the bag
Kathryn S  Yes, we love ours!!
Shopper  Does it have compartments for fins?
SCOTT S  There are no external fin compartments, however fins of all sizes fit great inside.
David W  No, but there is plenty of room inside.
LEN G  there are no compartments for fins but they will fit in the bag tucked off to the side
Kathryn S  Does it hold one person or 2 scuba gear?
KEITH D  Yes this bag holds scuba gear for 2 people. On I our trip to Okinawa I packed BCD, shortie, 2 sets of fins, 3 masks in cases, clothes for 1 week and still had room .
SCOTT S  The medium bag is designed for one person's gear, however the large is suitable for two.
LEN G  it will hold only one persons complete scuba gear
Harold S  If you are talking full kit including BCD only one persons gear
Karla Z  It holds gear and a few extra items for one person. My husband also bought his own bag as well. He got the large and I got the medium size. Measure your fins and the demensions of your BCD before deciding on a size of bag.
DAWN T  The medium holds scuba gear for 1 person with room to spare (for extra suits, masks, flashlights, first aid kit, tool kit, etc.). If you have travel bcs, and wear minimum exposure gear (like a skin suit or a 1 mm suit) you may be able to fit gear for 2 people in a medium. But if you want to use 1 bag for 2 people you should get the large.
