An all-around great mask

By DiveyDavey

This mask provides great visibility, a comfortable snug fit, and is generally just really, really nice.

Great Mask... Amazing price!!!

By Rdiver

This Is a great mask. I bought mine for 84 at my local scuba shop and couldnt believe the price when i found it here at leisure pro. I was thinkin is this too good to be true but its the real deal. i would highly reccomend the Black silver color scheme. It has the black skirt and lack and silver frame. the black skirt is softer and in my opinion seals very well. Overall I would say DO IT!!!

Do you really have to give up your sense of style when buying scuba gear? The people at Scubapro don't think so! That's why they designed the Spectra Mask. This low-profile, high comfort mask is available is multiple stylish colors, thanks to an innovative metallic paint method process on the frame that gives the mask a rich look of stylish eye wear. The Spectra Mask doesn't just look good. It is a prime mask, in terms of function. The Spectra Mask has a double feathered edge high quality silicone rubber skirt and wide split style silicone rubber mask strap that combine to create a perfect seal on the face. The dual tempered glass lens design allows for maximum underwater vision and the intake of light. Mask is equipped with an easy to reach one hand nose pocket for ear equalization which can be utilized even when wearing thick gloves. The Mask is equipped with easy to adjust swivel buckle system. Its low-profile low volume personality means clearing the mask is an effortless task. Because the Spectra Mask has two lenses, you'll be able to clearly and easily see more of what surrounds you.

The lenses of the mask are made from an ultra-clear glass. Standard glass has a green tint. The green tint you see is the result of iron impurities left over in lower quality "float" or window type glass. That green tint distorts true colors and blocks-out some of the light that reaches the eye. Ultra-clear is a new and exciting optical quality tempered glass with exceptional clarity and high light transmission, with no color distortion. The exceptionally high light transmittance and lack of distortion in the ultra-clear lens maximizes the light available for improved visual acuity, especially underwater in low light conditions. Better vision, truer colors is what you get with Scubapro's ultra-clear lenses.

You're bold; that's one reason you're a scuba dive. Now your gear can complement your adventurous personality with a stylish mask that is sure to leave everyone else a little green with envy. The Spectra Mask is available in multiple color choices with a clear or black silicone skirt. Mask comes with a protective mask box.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

BRAD L  Do you know the size of the lens in mm?
COLIN R  no, but i like it.
CHAD M  Does the GoPro mount fit on this mask?
MARK V  Sorry, can't help you with this, I use a GoPro handle with my camera. It floats if you happen to let go and the strap fails. I've seen a GoPro lost due to a wrist mount that got stripped off when removing a BC, and have seen a mask mount flip backwards off of a divers head. I trust my handle much more. Mark
Shopper  Do the black and silver goggles have those 4 ribbed pockets by the nose?
YAN G  No, it does not.
Von Ryan S  Does it come in copper-color tinted glasses?
Shopper  I was in the store on Sunday and bought this mask. I wear a pretty weak bifocal prescription. Without glasses diving my vision at a distance is pretty good but my gauge looks a bit blurry. Do I need to get my prescription put in this mask, get a gauge with larger numbers when I buy one or is there something in between just to sharpen my close up vision?
YAN G  Try these lenses that you can install in the mask yourself for bifocal: http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/AQUOP.html.
CHUCK C  My wife has successfully installed diopters into her face mask to solve just this problem. They self-adhere to the lens surface and are readily available at any good dive shop or eye health/care clinic in a variety of magnification strengths.
